You should try Maxi Glides flat iron. It straighten any kind of textured hair in one shot using steam as a boost. It cost a little grip, but well worth it. Will save you a LOT of time. Look it up.

when i straighten my curly weave i usually wash and condition then immediately blow it out with a blow dryer. then straighten with a flat iron. it comes out bone straight.

I blow dry mine with a round or pattle brush before I straighten and it comes out pin straight. Next time do that and it won't be so wavy.

I would have blow dried it first to take most of the curls out so it would be easier to straighten, but I like it.
