Silhouettes are a great way to build up a nice concept design, though you lose the technique and the work becomes amature when you started lining and colouring. I hope to see some improved work from you.

@UnnTouchable1993 It's simply overlay. You can do it in GIMP just as easily as photoshop. Make a new layer for the colors and set it to overlay, then simply go over it. The value of the gray will show through while you color, and it doesn't show up on white, which makes it a nice, clean way of coloring. Hope that helps.

I have a question. During the coloring phase, what is the general technique called when you made the color and tones gray, and then colored over it? (sorry for the bad wording)

I say general technique because this is done using photoshop cs3 (I use GIMP so the exact way of doing it will probably be different).
