@delanogaston what you say is all relative "truth". Your perception of truth may be different than others. To you, this may not be a big deal, but to those who have witnessed UFO's and been called "kooks" and made to look foolish, it will be a disclosure which will reinstated their integrity.
As for what truth and our right to know? It is OUR planet, not theirs or the global governments. We, citizens of earth have a right to know our fate!

@delanogaston If I was on a plane about to crash, and had a chance to say a prayer or call my children and say good bye, I'd rather go that way than not having had my personal closure. Also, I'd rather not have someone decide for me how much I know when I am about to die. If what you say is true, than if you get terminal cancer, you probably advocate the doctor not even tell you and let you deteriorate until you are gone.
The argument is, who decides other peoples fate?

@Trevoc2 Nope. If the doctor tells YOU he is not risking anyone else's safety. If you tell a plane full of ppl they are going to die, you might cause a panic that will risk the lives of everyone including the pilot who is trying his best to SAVE everyone.
If the crash landing goes well and everyone lives, then the pilot did the right thing by not telling everyone that everything will be ok.
We choose what to tell ouand what NOT to tell our kids too as another example.

We elect politicians who are not obliged to tell us "everything" and yet we are by law, obliged to tell them "everything" or risk contempt of court. Are you seeing how withholding or lying is so lopsided?
Even if you are right, what you miss is, that the governmnt(s) has so much power, the are answerable to no one. Thats what we need to overcome, right to know is a RIGHT, not a gift by our governement(s).

The credibility of the government and its decision to share or withhold information is the real issue for me. I am appalled at what the government conceals and what IT decides to share with us, be it UFO or how much rights we have. I think their (the governments) unbridled power is as scary as aliens visiting us. Each creating potential panic of the masses.

Even "Special Relativity" is relative...that means even your quoted "1 in 10^113" is relative...extraterrestrial life is fact not fiction. You simply haven't seen the evidence yet to know: others have & require no further persuasion. For your own sanity, at least keep an open mind.
