Just read her book 'Made From Scratch'. I had no idea the hard life she has had. But by will and perserverance she turned it all around and become a huge success. People may not agree w/her kitchen methods, but numbers don't lie. She sold $20million alone on QVC worth of product and some of her books end up on NYX best seller list. Plus her Food Network show is popular high rated and very entertaining. She's a hoot. Especially when she pours a cocktail! lol

Remember, Sandra was a millionaire by the time she was in her early thirties. She invented some kind of curtain product about 20 years ago that made HSN millons of dollars. She's also written and published about 20 books, has her own tv show. Hardly someone I would call "a joke". And if her cooking and reciipies are really that bad (I don't know because I've never tried them), then I give her even more credit since she's able to sell pure crap and still make millions.

@jwsrauch I make cookies for my snack bar. Three of my cookie recipes are from scratch and one of them I got from Sandra Lee; "Semi Homemade". If and When I find a sugar cookie recipe better the the one I got form her I will use it. And, believe me I have been looking and trying other recipes but, the one I have is just so perfect....and easy to do. Go Sandra Lee.

I've said it before!

Sandra Lee should be on every ROCKSTAR's list of desired women. A woman that not only looks like a an MTV supermodel; but is creative with food and alcohol (meant as a compliment). And she still has the woman next door kinda look.
