or t.rex was chasing the hard of hadrosaurs, its strong evidence theres no single fossil evidence supporting the scavenger theory meant that it was mostly predator, good eye sight,good sense of smell was used for predators too not just scavengers, and strong bite force does not mean scavenger to be in common with hyenas again hyena's were not pure scavengers
@cf572 I agree. I think it was too large to be purely a scavenger. If you look at today's scavengers, that is those that survive on already dead animals they are small. Think vultures and buzzards. Hyenas are large and although they do scavenge also kill and eat their prey at times. Even lions will scavenge, stealing prey from hyenas that may have brought that particular prey down. No, T-Rex was nor only a scavenger but also a fearsome predator. The apex
and finally guys, a fossilized track was found of t.rex foot strides tracks with hadrosaur foot tracks meaning t.rex was hunting that track was found even before that stupid scavenger theory i dont know why most people agreed with this stupid theory back then,
HONESTLY EVERYBODY- the T-rex was both. the trex scavenged as much as it could....however, there is eevidence that it hunted as well. In the 1990's or early 2000's they discovered broken off tre teeth in an injured edmontosaurus. Also, why would the trex have naturally forward pointing eyes (common in most predators) instead of to the side if it were a pure savenger? Some scientists think the trex could only run 11 mph (i think its more so 20-22 mph) it would be fast to catch slow herbivores
@sdzoo2000 actually theres evidence that it mostly hunted, jack honer said it was a scavenger because of its tiny arms i heard rumors that he said no predator kills using only its mouth, what about sharks? crocodiles? they dont scavenge they hunt and they dont use claws, snakes,eels,birds,ants, it begs an explenation and the fact it ran slow? it is now know that t.rex ran fast it hand muscles in the thighs extending to the tail for faster speed and a slender leg so mostly huner
@sdzoo2000 secondly hyenas were not entirely scavenger, jack honer said he was 100% scavenger, well TO BE A 100% SCAVENGER you need to fly to search far distances because dead food is always available you can find them fast if you fly, t.rex cant fly and most people agree t.rex mostly hunted, and2ndly bite marks found on the tail of an edmontosaurus just one tooth mark fitting a t.rex tooth but t.rex did not eat it because the skeleton was not shreded meaning edmonto escaped meant trex hunting
when will it be released hav u got any gameplay yet. how many people are makin this game. the game will be awsome with this concept of hunting dinos. i used hav a game simular to it but i lose it but i loved it.
Thank you for the comment but I need to keep these files because they will be used in a game that will be sold- which means i need to keep the content exclusively in the the game. (it violates the license of my agreement to do otherwise). any dinosaurs I do not use in the game I will gladly give to you.
I don't know if T-Rex was a predator or scavenger; but I do believe it was a giant Doo, Doo bird. If you look at them carefully, they share some similar characteristics; Small arms, the look in their eyes and the way they moved, if paleontologist are correct. During evolution the T-Rex swapped its teeth for a bulky beak.

@cf572
I think you are completely right. I think the t-rex was completely capable of both. In my game the t-rex wil. Be a hunter and will attack the player.

@cf572 thanks basically what i siad....

I believe you are seriously mislead. There are enough points to indicate tyrannosaurus was soley not a scavenger and primariliy not a scavenger.
