In hindsight I wish you would have voted for the amendment. Great speech. It IS what this issue is all about. As a DFLer I appreciate your voice and your courage. However I think you were played by your leadership. Someone made you believe that they would vote with you and didn't. They are cowards and not fit for the office they hold.

Well said! Now the work is to educate all citizens since it moves forward to the ballot. Hopefully, citizens will consider 'equal protection under the law' and the sovereign rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.'  Unfortunately, I believe some will vote their prejudice.
