  • @RG32hockey lolz i play football.....

  • @vanhalen1583 lolz that doesn't matter...the way you try to make your point is ridiculous

  • @Tigersfan829 Hey, I'm just sayin MSU>scUM

  • Well....

  • Have fun playing Alabama in your 2012 season opener.

  • @germandrummer13 we will

  • @Tigersfan829 i hear alabama is losing a lot of players, but i don't see your offensive getting that much against them still.

  • @Tigersfan829 i disagree. sure alabama may be losing some key players, but seriously, its dosnt matter for them. theyll just reload without missing a beat. i think we'll lose either way. i dont think itll be a blowout, but alabama IS the superior program at this point. id say itll be more in the range of a 35-24 loss. just being realistic.

  • Hasnt ostate kicked ur ass for the last ten years they went 8-2

  • @BallinBig93 ok lets get something straight ...mich barely beat vt who got crushed by clemson who got KILLED by wvu.. I rest my case.... And another thing mich is definately not back

  • @vanhalen1583 Doesn't Michigan have the most wins in college football, and has 42 Big Ten championships when MSU only has 7. So STFU

  • @vanhalen1583 and ohio beat wisconsin but lost to purdue...playing the "this team beat that team" game doesn't make a difference

  • @vanhalen1583 so what would you call 11 wins and currently a #3 ranked recruiting class?

  • @Tigersfan829 like a poor boy getting a few dollars but then have none once again

  • @vanhalen1583 ok ya if i follow youre really intelligent logic. michigan barely beat vt who lost to clemson who was killed by wvu who got crushed by SYRACUSE who got crushed by PITT who lost to NOTRE DAME who lost to MICHIGAN... your an idiot dude you know nothing about football. and going by your logic, oklahoma state lost to iowa state who barely beat northern iowa 20-19... so i guess the #3 team in the nation: ok state is barely the caliber of an FCS team???

  • @vanhalen1583 your a dumbass...

  • @BallinBig93, Exactly. Huge turnaround for Michigan. MSU is losing several of their best players and Michigans coming for em.

  • @Tigersfan829 did anyone ask you?

  • michigan is fucking gay

  • @vanhalen1583 "michigan is fucking gay" Hahahah u sound like a little kid. Grow up man. What team do you root for??? Probally some team that got their ass kicked by Michigan. Stop hating. GO BLUEEEE!!!!!!!

  • @BallinBig93 actually im 16.. for some reason im replying to you(dont know why considering how stupid most mich fans are) but mich never kicks anyones ass( u said that bc ur a mich fan...go figure)

  • @vanhalen1583 well it does make you sound like a moron...and i'm 17

  • @vanhalen1583 Ok but u never aswered my question, what team do u root for???

  • @BallinBig93 msu

  • @vanhalen1583 Ok so why come to a brady hoke/rich rodriguez video and talk shit. Are u that bored??? and btw u and your spartans should have fun getting their ass kicked next year and the years to come, Hail to the victors sugar bowl champions

  • Thank God for Brady Hoke! He is a God send to Michigan. 10 wins in year one, ranked in the top 25, 6 Big Ten wins and beating that school in Ohio? Pretty good job in turning around that defense, in the top 20. What a year that was. I am proud of Team 132, and will never forget what they've done: give Michigan fans for the future of this program. GO BLUE!

  • @TheWolverineTimes McGuffie wasn't ran out, he wanted to be closer to home after a family member passed away. Mallet was looking to move, even if we had a pro style coach.

  • lol is rich tooting his own horn a little? "say theres a pretty good weight room thats been put in there over the last couple years...would you say that those things help YOU?"

    hah classic

  • @jejesdad: The way I think about Rodriguez is that he's a man who was offered 6 million dollars and got another 4 million "help" with his buy-out. A man oughta know his business better and a man oughta know his limitations. Rodriguez knew neither of those things. And the idiot (former AD) Bill Martin hired him but ended up "retired out" just before RR FLUNKED his Michigan coaching job. RR gets no sympathy from me!

  • Rich Rod seriously looked close to tears at the beginning.

  • you can say all you want about hoke,

but he is one hell of a recruiter

Did you see that recruiting class

  • cheateyes smell funny.... so watch: max strong.... HE GANA WOOP YA, PUKE PICKEL

  • Rich Rodriguez: He took my jerb!

  • Hoke not only saved Michigan's 2011 recruiting season, he's got the 2012 class at first place in the country and did it in record time (fastest fill up rate in the Big Ten).

Go Blue! Just want to thank all those folks in Berkeley CA, Yosemite Natl Park and at Phoenix airport for the "Go Blue!" salutes u all gave when you saw my Michigan cap. Talk about brand recognition!

  • @Dunkleosteus3691 As a Michigan fan, I have to say that I hate Rich is out of work, but I'm glad he isn't the coach for Michigan anymore. He just had to go, but Brady has done an excellent job so far, and this team is about to play Mich. St tomorrow, GOD willing. I just believe this was the best move for the short, and long term for the University of Michigan. That style that Rich was trying to implement wouldn't work, but he can get a Big East team and try it again.

  • All the talent is in Ohio and western penn he speaks the truth lol (OSU fan/future MAC player)

  • All he needs to do is let Denard run the offense and he should run the DEFENSE!!! GO BLUE!!!!!

  • awkwarddddd

  • Rich Rod is a good coach but he was the wrong fit for Michigan. I can see Rich Rod being the coach at Clemson in 2012.

Brady Hoke understands the tradition at Michigan. Hoke feels it is unacceptable to lose to Ohio State and Michigan State.

  • the whole rich rod was left with no talent thing is complete bogus....check the recruiting classes before rich rod arrived...all in the top 10 the problem is rich rod hired a terrible D cordnator and completly ignored the D

  • @hattrick991 what about the kicking game/special teams?!

  • @TheWolverineTimes I don't know how good Ryan would've done in Rich's offense, but he would've probably helped a lot in 2008. Also minor and brown, I don't know how they managed to get hurt so much, but they could have been much better. What do I think? It sure seemed like there were more injuries per game under RR than any other coach. Could have been the way Barwis held his workouts (the way you work out makes a huge difference in preventing injuries), also could have been the offenseingeneral

  • well played on both sides of this interview.

  • Rich Rodriguez is a great coach in the right situation. Michigan just wasn't the right situation.

  • Brady is the least awkward guy ever.. but rich is super awkward for for

  • "Awkward!" I love saying awkward in an awkward situation. Hoke gave Rodriguez plenty of respect on his recruiting efforts on National Signing Day. When's the last time we ever let a coach go? There's no precedent for this in Ann Arbor.

  • That wasn't so bad. Both men showed a lot of respect and class.

  • I been a Michigan fan since my womb emancipation lol. Rich Rodriguez was left with NO TALENT! what's so ever when Carr left PERIOD!. I knew the first couple of years it was going to be VERY! tough, and the thing is that the stuck up Michigan Alumni wanted him gone after year 1. I was afraid this was going to happen no one was patient not even the AD. I hope Brady Hoke is the right man but this time he's got talent to work with. Think about Michigan fans "HAVING TALENT! IS KEY!"

  • @bengochips I hope you mean on offense. on offense I'll agree, but on defense the first year he had will johnson, brandon graham, terrance taylor, charles stewart, troy woolfolk, stevie brown etc. and almost all minus two I think were 4 stars and above. I realize stars don't always mean everything, but they at least me that you should have a decent defense with all those guys, and it was still shitty that first year. then it managed to get even worse.

  • @Tigersfan829 First half defense played fine usually. But the offense would go three and out so often that the D would be completely worn out by the end of the games.

  • @bengochips This man wasn't left with nothing. He only recruited worse on defense. His 1st year that team was 3-9, and that defense was top 70, but a 7-6 Rodriguez led team was close to the bottom in every category????? Gimme a break. Rich couldn't beat decent teams and even good teams, and his quotes got worse "I think the worse was behind us"......please. This was the right move, and it will pay off, but Rich had to go. He'll bounce back, but he needs to learn how to recruit.

  • @Tigersfan....your full of shyt! there are players that were left over from Carr's regime that have made it to the nfl that played for RR. just admit it was a square into a round hole and leave it. RR got to UM and completely rubbed a lot of people/including instate football the wrong way. the spartans took advantage and took the best talent instate for the most part and RR failed mostly because his cronies on the def staff couldnt coach the kids there.

  • theres no excuse for Michigan to have almost 15 wide receivers on scholarship and far less top def linemen and lb's. add to that fact that RR got 2 def. coordinators and handicapped them immediately...not allowing them to bring their own staff...not 1 of their coaches,. i personally liked RR...but he doomed himself here...dont blame LC for all this

  • Comment removed

  • @odog575 I'm not gonna blame Carr at all. After the 2007 season there were seniors to be Adrian Arrington, Mario Manningham, and Ryan Mallett, and a couple others. As soon as RR came and brough the spread all three split, and if they did stay I think the 2008 season would of been better. However RR was faced with rebuilding the offense, and then the 2009, 2010 defense was so young. Yeah Rich Rod was treated unfairly and did NOT deserved it!

  • @bengochips my ? to you is how do you justify the offense doing well vs. garbage, but mediocre vs better teams? Why was a defense that led a 3-9 team better than a 7-6 bowl game team? What has Rich ever accomplished, really? Winning the Big East......big woof, because UCONN won whatever is left of that conference last year and lost 5 games before their bowl game beating. He may be a decent human being, but he sucked as a Coach, and especially with Michigan.

  • @bengochips man they did have talent just like the others on here are commenting about. changing the entire face of a program to do opposite of what its been doing FOREVER.

  • @bengochips its the head coaches job to get talent.....this isnt the NFL....guys only start on average of 1 or 2 years max before their gone......head coaches stay for decades. there for it falls on the Head Coach in the college game. so basicly rich-rod sucked

    glad he's gone

  • @bengochips He brought in decent talent, and Brady is winning with Rich's guys. HOWEVER, Rod hired the worst, dumbest, most incompetent defensive coaches possible. No adjustments were ever made, fundamentals were atrocious, etc. Brady, Mattison, etc. have already made that defense looks a thousand times better than the last two years. And with the offense, that will come with time adjusting to the pro style, but Brady and Al are doing what Rich didn't his first year, and EASE in.

  • @bengochips no talent? we had Ryan mallet, a solid offensive line, a good rb core that consisted of brandon minor and carlos brown. Mario manningham left as a junior i believe? correct if i'm wrong. Michigan's defensive line was stacked and we had decent cb's and our lb's were good too. BUT having crummy coaching = crummy results. If hoke would have been offered the job in the first place michigan would still have the longest bowl game streak and we wouldn't of needed a rebuilding process.

  • @maizeandblue27 Great players uh, well tell me what pro teams they are on so I can watch them. The only decent guys from Carr was Graham and Mesko.

Barwis transformed Graham from a wad to a machine. The rest...

No all big ten, no all american. Just of bunch of quitting cry babies. No senior leadership..Yeah, they should have been better. Too busy running to Carr and crying. Pathetic.

Notice the difference with these guys? Team 132.

The team, the team, the team.

  • @trublu97 the difference is this years coching staff is 100 times better then the coaching staff of the last 3 years. The players did not buy into what rich rod was teaching them, to be honest i wouldn't either. He had a talented team but the coaching wasnt there. THATS THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS YEAR AND THE LAST 3 YEARS. Michigan is way better off in the end with brady hoke.

  • RichRod and Hoke, 2 class acts! That had to be a nervous time for the both of them and not one time could you hear any diggs from either of them.

  • All i can say is Thank you University of Michigan, you took John Beilen and Rich Fraud and both of your programs still SUCK! @ WVU we have gone to a final 4 in BB and won a Big East title, have had 3 winning seasons in FB with one of the best Off Co in the Nation as a future HC ! Thank you ! Keep the good work up and UM fans rejoice in your universities floundering !

  • @brettheram And last time I checked, West Virginia is filled with uneducated hillbillies, who spend all their day in coal mines and come home to fuck their siblings and watch NASCAR. Your state is America's shit hole. Glad your proud of it though.

  • @brettheram ....LMAO!! poor brettheram..your looking at what you did in a few yrs, what about the history of wvu? pleaseeee dont go there about michigan, and i sure hope your not comparing wvu with michigan..LOL, thats hilarious, ok lets see winningest program in college football, tons of big 10 titles, a national championship, and heres wvu, gone to a final 4 in bb, and won a big east title??? lmao!! 3 winning seasons in fb, please stop your making me laugh

  • Heh. I remember Michigan fans saying shit like "Don't hate him because he left for our school!" Now, they are bashing Rodriguez just like we did. Never fails.

  • @MusicOfAdam well i still say don't blame him for leaving to coach on the biggest stage in college football. He just wasn't cut out for big ten football. he'll be successful again if he finds a job in the big east or acc.

  • NO EXCUSES RICH.

  • Man. Imagine the tension in the air. Surprisingly, it wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be. Rich Rod never belonged at Michigan, but I wish him the best. I hope he gets a D1 coaching job. I'm excited for the Brady Hoke era. Lets GO BLUE!

  • @JisAllOverYourFace ...he will get a d1 job trust me on that, now that said i'm glad we're moving ahead, i think hoke and co. did a helluva job salvaging this recruiting class....GO BLUE

  • @menttor615 Yeah. I honestly thought Pittsburgh would be smart enough to hire him, but I guess not. Oh well. They missed out. I never hated Rich Rod, but when he came to Michigan I was one of those fans who didn't want him there. Nor did I agree with UM hiring him. Thats the past and Hoke's the future. Hiring Greg Mattison is huge for Coach Hoke. Plus, recruiting like a maniac. Lets hope for a bowl game in his first year.

  • @JisAllOverYourFace ...i agree. with me at 1st i didnt know what to expect, so you start reading and hearing good things about him so your like ok lets see..no matter what i was cheering them on, but when they started losing and losing to bad teams and losing to pstate and msu and osu, it really hit me hard, we use to pimp pstate and little brother, but when he came here. we were theyre bitch, enough is enough. we got smash mouth football back and i cant wait....GO BLUE

  • @menttor615 Oh Hell Yeah. I will be honest when I say this. From the first day UM introduced RR as the new head coach I told my 77 year old Michigan alumnus friend that its a bad idea. I knew his small fast scheme is not going to work in the big physical BigTen, but I was hoping it would. Like you said the griddy, smash mouth, in your face Michigan football is what we need. Thats what I fell in love with. Brady Hoke is bringing that back. ALL IN FOR BRADY HOKE and MICHIGAN!

  • @JisAllOverYourFace ...exactly we were in denial..we wanted to here the good about him, but deep down we wanted to keep the old michigan, goodluck RR, and welcome back brady

    GO BLUE

  • @menttor615 Hell Yeah Man. Its time for those 111,000 fans, filling those seats every game, to get what they deserve. Championship football. What Michigan truly is. ---GO BLUE!

  • @JisAllOverYourFace ....GO BLUE F...K OSU...i am excited and cant wait

  • @menttor615 Yeah. Me too. I need September to come quick.

  • @JisAllOverYourFace ..are you kidding ditto that, altho i do wanna enjoy my summer, but i still cant wait i'll take september right now if i can, lol

  • @menttor615 Oh yeah. Me too. I'm a UM fan living in GR, Michigan, so i'm really getting sick of the snow. lol. I'm defintely ready for the summer. and at the same time. Season opener can't come sooner.

  • With Rich already being a little awkward to begin with, I thought this would be worse to be honest. It wasn't too awkward. GO BLUE.

  • Eat a whole bag of dicks, ShitRod. Have fun coaching DeVry or ITT Tech in the future. You are truly human garbage.

  • Why johonny tyler,,,,you look like someone just walked over your grave!

  • Poor RichRod. You can see this is just killing him. As it should because I think he got shafted at Uof M. I know the defense was just terrible but he was fighting a up hill battle since day one. He had no chance and I am glad that he is finally removed from that situation. On the other hand, I am nostalgically optimistic about the Brady Hoke hire.

  • o yea, FIRST

  • SUPER awkward!
