I'm glad they were still friends they looked happy working together.I know it was sad for Dolly to loose him but at least he is at rest.I love them both!

I can only guess...I believe this was at a ceremony for Porter's induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Dolly was actually inducted into the Hall of Fame a couple of years before Porter, so she may have been wearing this medal because she was a Hall of Fame member at a Hall of Fame ceremony!!!!! Again, I am only guessing.

Its a "Country Music Hall of Fame Inductee" medal, given to them when they are inducted into the Hall and they usually wear them at Hall of Fame ceremonies like this one.
