I wanted to give him a "balanced diet", LOL!! The ones in Worlds 5-2 & 5-3 can have other stuff thrown at them too (Trouter, Beezo, Shyguy, Ninji, etc).
@wtcvidman The one in 5-2 can have a Trouter thrown at it and the one in 5-3 can have Pidgits, Snifits, Shyguys and Beezos and large vegetables thrown at it.
Still, it's funny you wanted to give him (or her) a 'balanced diet'! Although the ones on 5-2 and 5-3 can have generic enemies thrown at them, the one on 4-2 can ONLY have its eggs thrown at it; I only use mushroom blocks on the GREEN Birdos.
The original instruction manual of the game said "He thinks he is a girl and he spits eggs from his mouth. He'd rather be called 'birdetta' ". So I don't know what the following games did, but as far as this game goes, Birdo is a dude (like a crossdresser).
In world 3-1, I choose Toad for this level, because he can pick up the bushes to reveal the coins faster and I had the opportunity to play the "bonus chance" up to 24 chances in a row. However, it only works when you reach the door at the bottom of the waterfall and enter an empty, deserted cave.
It's nice to see an "ordinary" playthrough of this game. No speedrunning, no tool-assistance, just playing. It's not my favorite of the Mario games, and I've only beaten it once on NES, but seeing this makes me want to play it again, and maybe come to like it as much as I like the others. :)
THERE'S A WARP! If you take the magic bottle from the room at the bottom of the falls and you place the door on top of the pot at the end of the room, when you go into "night mode" you can enter the pot and WARP to WORLD 5-1!!
When I first walked towards the pot and tried to fit inside, it didn't work, because I thought you could find a hidden power-up or reveal the good guys to get them untrapped and set them free. So I decided to drag the potion and placed it beside the pot. Unknowingly what I was doing, I ended up going further to a warp zone. Come to think of it, I discovered it myself.
It's hard to ride on the flying carpet up to the bottom edge of the beanstalk. Because of this, you could easily slip off the beanstalk and fall all the way back to the ground where you started from
Each time I played super mario brother 2 on the super mario "all-stars" version, I could never figure out how to reveal the "bonus chance" at the end of each level. Until one day, my sister Amanda was playing nintendo and she made a discovery. You had pick up a potion, throw it onto the ground, to make the mirror-image screen appear, and collect coins as much as you can from the bushes. It is the only way to get numerous chances to play a bonus game.
So when you started playing, you never collected coins, or was it that you didn't know that the coins are what gave you the Bonus Chance opportunities? I played this game on the NES & found out fairly quickly between me, my brother & my friend. I think the manual also mentions it, though I'm not sure if the manual of the SNES version went into that much detail since there were like 4 or 5 games in 1 in that version.
Yeah, they let you try for extra lives in the jackpot machine bonus after each level. The player gets 1 try per coin where a potential of 1, 2, or 5 extra lives can be gotten with each try.
I always hated Luigi`s legs hahaha its annyoing for me, sorry

Are you referring to Birdo, the red egg shooting enemy at the end of the video? If yes, then his name is Birdo.

First time you lost a life, but don't worry. Everyone of us is human, not a robot. You're a nice player after all.

Thanks. I lost only 1 life during my Zelda II walkthrough, but it was in the dumbest/most pathetic way.

I know, I'm well aware of it. I covered the warp in another video. This one was done to show the entire level.
