This is a completly different song than fleetwood mac's. I think this song came out before theirs, if not anyway Olivia's Landslide is not the same. or even close to being. Olivia's Landslide is better than fwm.

I HONESTLY LOVE HER !!! I ALWAYS HAVE ! Watching this today made me feel 12 years old again. I was honored to be able to finally see her in person last year, and I have to admit, when she walked out on stage I really, really thought I was leaving the auditorium on a stretcher. This is an excellent pop song loaded with addictive hooks (my favorite from the album). Oh yeah it would have been a big hit if released sooner but back then albums couldn't support too many hits (like they could a few years later).....but ohhh I remember dancing to this song at our junior high dance (they played it twice, along with several other songs from that monster album) and she was a superstar.
Peep the pagan symbolism all thru this video. Not callin Ms. John a satanist but, dammit man, it's obvious this video is about more than fooling her ex husband (who, coincidentally, went from successful singer/model to homelessness).
"Landslide" was actually scheduled to be the first single off of "Physical," because Olivia was very nervous about "Physical" at the time. The record company insisted that "Physical" come out first, then pushed the new sexy image further with "Make a Move On Me." By the time "Landslide" was released, as the third single, the album had already peaked, and "Landslide" failed to become a massive hit. If "Landslide" would have been released first, do you think "Physical" would have been a hit???
I have been a huge Olivia NJ fan for many years, I had the pleasure to see her in concert on her physical tour I think that was the name...long time ago, I remember she did like a million jumping jacks through the song. She is lovely with the voice of an angel. I really do like "make a move on me" more. Going back a few huh??

I heard that the man She sees in the begining and thats in the cage at the end was her first husband. He left her after her bout of breast cancer and she had to get that Masectomy. I also heard that He cheated on her allthrought their marriage, and it got worse durring the breast cancer problem.

@TheBoochan82 She was completly finished with all her cancer ordeal before they split, first he wanted a divorce but their Daughter talked them out of it, then 2 years later Olivia divorced him after catching him with Chloe's nanny. Matt eventually married their Nanny. Yes he did do some horrible things to Olivia throughout their marriage, he also used her, he's also bi-sexual, he never had any money, Olivia took care of him as well as her boyfriend Patrick Mcdermott who done Olivia very sh.t.y.

I HONESTLY LOVE HER !!! I ALWAYS HAVE ! Watching this today made me feel 12 years old again. I was honored to be able to finally see her in person last year, and I have to admit, when she walked out on stage I really, really thought I was leaving the auditorium on a stretcher. I couldnt speak, I was frozen, the tears were wanting to come out but I was so amazed that after 31 years of following her (since I was 7) I was actually looking at her ! It was an AMAZING night to say the least.

Remember when she came out and then retracted after that? I love the roll she played on "Sordid Lives"! That series is soooooo funny and quirkey...You have to love it or hate it!!!..I thought she was great in that and I'd love to get some of those songs she sang 4 that show too!

He's not the guy missing that is Patrick McDermott, he is still alive living in Mexico, he done Olivia wrong, never had money she supported them both, Olivia never dated a "girl" that is a lie, Olivia has never been gay. She's always had a boyfriend or Husband from her teenage life. Her being gay is only a vicious lie/rumour.

@MrMedusaLvamp You're welcome :D Yes, he is still alive. Nope, he is not the photographer that was missing (they say the photographer has been found.) I didn't hear that she was dating a girl. She had a singing partner, Pat Farrar. I didn't hear her come out and retract. She said in an interview that was a rumor and she is not gay. Sordid Lives: The Series Soundtrack has her songs from the show, amazon has it on their website. Some of the songs are here on youtube too!

@msmusec you're right. Olivia not gay, but she has always been an advocate for gay rights and causes. Not only was she in Sordid Lives, but also in It's My Party, one of the first feature films to address the topic of AIDS patients dying with dignity.

This is an excellent pop song loaded with addictive hooks (my favorite from the album). Oh yeah it would have been a big hit if released sooner but back then albums couldn't support too many hits (like they could a few years later).....but ohhh I remember dancing to this song at our junior high dance (they played it twice, along with several other songs from that monster album) and she was a superstar.

"Landslide" was actually scheduled to be the first single off of "Physical," because Olivia was very nervous about "Physical" at the time. The record company insisted that "Physical" come out first, then pushed the new sexy image further with "Make a Move On Me." By the time "Landslide" was released, as the third single, the album had already peaked, and "Landslide" failed to become a massive hit. If "Landslide" would have been released first, do you think "Physical" would have been a hit???

I have been a huge Olivia NJ fan for many years, I had the pleasure to see her in concert on her physical tour I think that was the name...long time ago, I remember she did like a million jumping jacks through the song. She is lovely with the voice of an angel. I really do like "make a move on me" more. Going back a few huh??

They had already sent Physical to radio before Olivia freaked and said she wanted to pull it, so then she said We have to make a video to go against what the song is saying, which was the fat guys getting physical and walking out arm in arm at the end then one fat guy left with Olivia. lol
