  • Nice collection! I have the same G22 RTF. It is awesome! IMO the 4th gen should have used the same slide and grips as the RTF.

  • I've owned both. I would easily pay the extra cash for the XDm in a heartbeat. I like the colt style grip the XD has compared to the euro. Don't miss that sandpaper feel of the glocks. Also--the XD's have some weight to them, which I prefer. The glocks are just to lite for my taste, but the XD's aren't to heavy to where they are a burden. That helps a ton with counter recoil. But seriously--it's preference. The both will last you a lifetime.

  • Where the hell were you looking to buy an XDm that asked for $680? You can easily buy brand new XDm's in any caliber for around $550...

  • @GlockDropNRoll ......maybe now you can, but not 2 years ago when I made this video. A Bi-Tone XDM in .40 out the door was $680. BTW where are these $550 deals you speak of? I'm always on the look out for deals

  • @fatboyR6 BudsGunShop has guns for sale all around the $550 to $580 area, so with the $25 FFL charge it would be around $600. Also, the gun shop I live right next to (ChampionFirearms) has XDm's for $583..

  • @GlockDropNRoll I agree, there are deals out there. (for XDs and XDMs) As far as XDs go, I just bought my 2nd XD on Black Friday. Subcompact XD9 for $349. Will also be getting 3 extra free mags with it. (5 total) I can't imagine getting a new XD much cheaper.

  • how can i get a glock with the curved grip on the slide?

  • @wjay1234 Look for the RTF model, that model has the curved serrations on the slide.

  • Why did you want an XDM? It won't sling a bullet any better than a Glock. I recently bought a Glock 23 gen 4. Best hand gun ever produced IMOP. Extremely accurate and not one malfunction after hundreds of rounds. No external safety to fumble with either. You made a good purchase.

  • @Theophilus1978 .....too late bro I bought an XDM, and after 500 rounds I sold it. It actually finally started to shoot straight, but .40 was to expensive to shoot for drill etc. Also it had mag issue. Very hard to seat the mag in when slide closed and mag fully loaded. I ended up selling it, and my Kimber in .45 I finally replaced them with a Sig P226 Enhanced Elite in 9MM. I got a good price on it so I bit. I've yet to shoot any serious round count though it yet.

  • Can you imagine how gun control might be stomped if either of the NON-COMPROMISING groups, the SAF or GOA, had the NRA's 4 million members!

  • XDM = Match barrel....

  • what is the order that the glocks are in ?

  • @gleegz15 ....top to bottom are 27, 23, 22

  • i never liked the baby glocks

  • I carry a G23 its a great gun !XDM 9 over priced, plus its new on the market lacks the track record of a Glock, give me Glock, Sig and Ruger ...all the way, thanks

  • hey nice vid, im looking into a glock 22-23 for my 40 cal buy. Im not sure if someone answered you already but the XDM 9 is more expensive cuz it has interchangable grip swells, for better adjustment to your size hand. plus its barrel and mag are interchangeable with 40 cal barrel and mag so you can have two for one. hope it helps :)

  • Thanks for letting us know you joined the NRA. really could of left that part out bra.

  • Oh yeah nice trio!stay safe and armed peace!

  • I HAVE THE G22,AND THE G23 JUST FOR KICKS I WAS GONNA GET THE G27 I ALSO HAVE THE G21 ITS A BIG OLE HOSS!! HAHA! sorry caps! im glad im not the only glock owner with multiple models of the same caliber! haha i love my glocks!!! the xd's hold no appeal to me since in the early 2000's i owned an hs2000 which was pretty much the same gun!! i paid $299 for it i think and everyone scoffed at me for buying the el cheapo gun! haha it burned in a house fire along with all my other guns! :( eff xd's

  • Do they all use the same magazine?

  • @GoldSilverMedia ...basically yes, as in the G27 can use both the G22 and G23 mags, but for obvious reasons the G22 cant fit the G27 or G23 Mags. I have 30 round mags that fit all three of them.

  • I think the .40 has a slight edge in power delivered over the 9mm but both will put someone down no problem.

  • do you like the rtf beeter than the normal frame also do you like the 23 or 22 beter

  • @miltnxc123 ...each of these pistols, for me, serve a different purpose. The 22 fits me the best, but is not really a conseal pistol. The 23 fits my hand pretty good, but its a tight fit. I use it as my EDC. The 27 is to small to fit the pinky, but the pearce plus 2 mag extentions fit the pinky nicely. I dont always carry the 27, due to low mag capacity. Go to your local shop and try them all out. Dont be shy cause its a big investment. So I cant really say I like 1 over the other.

  • FatboyR6 did you buy the 23 brandnew for $470??? i paid 529.99 X 0.825 for mine.

  • @am374565 ....yes I paid $470 brand new for it from a local gun shop plus state tax and backround.

  • @fatboyR6

yea well thats a great deal sounds like a leo or miltary discount. I know here in Texas the civilian best price for a new glock at Academy sports is 529.99 an about 550.00 at the gun shops.

  • is there a competition version??? for .40

  • @GlaBurnzUrHouseAK47 ...Yes there is. G35 Check out Glocks website

  • i want to a get a 22 but a buddy of mine let me see his 23 and threw a wrench in my whole thought process..now it's like I'm researching a whole new gun. if u wanted a glock for home defense and to carry with a concealed would you go with a 22 or a 23?

  • @esco61 ...I choose to carry my G23. The G22 is a full size pistol and a bit much to carry, but the G23 is perfect for me. I use my full size XDM .40 for home defense with a streamlight TRL3 light attached. I also use that pistol (XDM) for Carbine Drill and soon to be IDPA 2 gun matches.

  • good video Congrats on becoming a NRA Member!

  • thanks for the comparisons...

  • I recently took my wife to an introductory firearms safety class after I bought her a S&W .38 snub nose for CC. Another woman ther had the new style glock with the new grips... before the shooting was over she needed bandages for a blister forming on her shooting hand due to the new sandpaper type grip pattern. A hogue grip is a great investment. Hope you enjoy it.

  • I took a female shooting with my G23 RTF(pistol not shown in this video) and she has no issues. I thought maybe should would, but she didnt. The hogue grip is the deal. I love it!!!

Check out my channel. She is on there shooting away!!!

  • @fatboyR6

    Why .40 cal? It's a Frankenstien round!

  • @MorfeuV it just kinda turned out that way. I got real good deals on them and I didn't pass it up. I have since bought the G23 RTF as well.

  • @MorfeuV lol what the hell does that even mean?

  • @MorfeuV isnt a 22 or 23 .40 cal standard for fbi?

  • Very nice vid and nice guns too.. I just joined your channel and Im impressed already. I just got my first glock, a G27.. Love it.. need the G23 now.. dont see the point in the full size when the sub shoots as good as it does.. later..

  • Great comparison. I got the G23 the other day and am going to be getting a G22 soon!!!

  • Thanks. Congrats on the 23!!! I like my 23 best outta all 3.

  • Its a true semi-auto airweight!!!

    Safe shooting.

  • 5 starz! merry Xmas!
