this is what real muscle sounds like and that ain't no misfire, thats just a big fruity race engine with high compression and race camshaft, the way god intended. this is what it all about. I have 463 pontiac 1979 trans am, I built the engine with some race parts higher compression and race cam though not as strong as this camaro, engine sounds similar but this camaro would blow the doors off my trans am. Yehaa! we need more cars like this in the world!! well done that man!

Cars like the Cadillac ,Buick ,Ford taurus 2010,Fussion all are great cars, and are rated the same as or better than the compitition things do change for the better on occasion, the new chevy Camaro is really neet too. Well some GM V8 engines are DOHC like the LT5, others are OHC like the L47 ,the LH2, the L37 and the supercharged LC3 even come with Variable Valve Timing . I know these are "small block engines" and in this case the word "cams"dont apply to the "Big Block 540" its just a typo , but thanks for the correction. i meant to wrote "cam" and wrote "cams" by mistake. once again thanks for the correction. In the case of the engine in that car, there will be 16 cam LOBES on that cam shaft (one for each valve, 2 valves for each cylinder). Those lobes are what he is referring to in this video. They are modified so that the engine has different intake and exhaust characteristics, mainly for higher RPMs.
