  • I'm possibly related to him. I have relatives with the last name of "Taylor" mostly in Virginia, North Carolina and parts of Louisiana. That last name is from my mother's father's side and my last name is Taylor.

  • how is brigham young a prophet?

  • My name is Zachary Taylor

  • I know someone who is related to Zachary Taylor. If anyone wants to help research to prove this. I know someone who is willing to pay to help research the genealogy. Please send a message if so.

  • My mother's mother was Annabelle Taylor, born to Emma Givens and Eugene Taylor. Emma Givens, was 3/4 white and was most likely owned by the Taylor family. Eugene Taylor was white. He born on the Fashion Plantation, Hahnville, LA. Fashion was purchased by President Zachary Taylor for his son General Richard Taylor. My mother said that Zachary Taylor was her mother's mother's uncle. I know that Richard Taylor's sister lived in this area.

  • No way im related to you

  • I am related to Zachary Taylor, I am his sons sons sons sons sons (5). This is verified as well, please reply to this saying your last name, where you live, aswell as how you are related. And yes the son x5 moved north to Indiana, then Michigan, and then ended up in canada.

  • I possibly am related to him. This is what my mothers grandmother says. Her name was Shirley Taylor from Oklahoma.

  • @buzzymcbuzz

ZT had one Son, Richard whose 2 sons died as youths during Civil war. No Taylor sons lived to have children. Daughters might have. My family claimed a direct descent so I have been trying to make our connection to our relative named Ida May Taylor. Any input? Joe Bollert at bollert@cox.net

  • I am searching for the direct descendents of either President Zachary Taylor or his son, General Richard Taylor. I would like to have a comparative DNA test performed to confirm my descent from Zachary Taylor(or his father/brother), via Richard Taylor, via Eugene Taylor, via the Hauhnville/Saint Francisville areas of Louisiana. The descendants are many, located in Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi and elsewhere. Any information is appreciated.

  • What Brigham actually said was, "Zachary Taylor has died and I am glad of it. May he burn in hell."

  • brigam young was very judgmental, i wonder why?

  • ......lol my ancestor died and went to hell!? Bullshit. He didn't get rid of slavery, but hey, that wasn't a good time to do so anyways.

  • who are you talking about?

  • You're related to Zachary Taylor?

  • How are you related to Zachary Taylor. I am too, via, Gen Richard Taylor, his son. Please reply.

  • Everyone seems to be related to these guys. My ancestors were extremely poor living in the south. So we have very little understanding of my ancestory. Nevertheless, how did you find out that you were related to Confederate General Richard Taylor?

  • Really enjoy these videos that you've put together. Do you think you'll post all the clips or just this one and JFK?

  • Michael, you don't know me but your mom used to babysit me when I was little. :-) My name is Jeff (but I'm not your uncle). My parents were neighbors of your mom's parents for over 40 years so I more or less grew up with your mom and her family. I was helping your grandpa with his computer last week and we watched a little of the DVD you produced... you did a great job!

  • Thanks for the compliments, Jeff! It's a small world.
