you can try an X-Sata, it's pretty complicated but it does several other things if you don't understand customs.

@omnirocklee well, you need to "Flash" your Disc Drive and Firmware so you can read Burned Dual Layer DVD's. And not all Disc Drives are Flashable.

Also by doing this you can get banned from XBL, and if your xbox Red Rings, then your SOL because you just broke the little seal by flashing your Disc Drive.
