  • Very Cool, Great playing !!

  • AW YEAH! Sounding cool and bluesy....

  • classic series or classic players 50's strat?

  • hi man!!!!What is this guitar??? Fender classic Player 50s ou Fender Cassic series 50s? great job.................thanks

  • Nice playing man, great post.

    *Check my strat demo.

  • @tellycastin Thanks

  • what amp and track are you using?

  • would this guitar sound good for classic rock? stuff like aerosmith....def leppard...ac/dc..etc..stuff with distortion

  • @guitarzz24 it will work, but you need a noise gate or hotrail-like humbucker, cause the noise is ANNOYING. i would recommend you a hotrail wich you can split, so you have a really versitale guitar that looks just like another strat.

  • @givemeajackson ok thanks alot. would io get a hot rail for everypick up or just one? im not really much of an electronics guy..ik quite a bit about guitars...but im only 15 so i still have a lot to learn abt them...

  • @guitarzz24 only one in the bridge position, u normally use the bridge pu for rock or hard rock. btw, i'm not older than you, but this humbucker-singlecoil-singlecoil setup was one of the most used configurations in 70's-80's hard rock. one good thing about the hotrail is that you can split it, so only one coil works= single coil, or you can use it like a normal humbucker.

  • @guitarzz24 Its not good for stuff with distortion. Try to buy an SG, it's better for music you mentioned.

  • @xHefpioTx it all depends on the player imho ... with a good distortion pedal or a good amp .. you can still make this beauty scream :) ironmaiden used strats ;) ... switching the pickups would obviously help alot :)

  • @guitarzz24 Yeah think so…it's up to the player :)

  • fender classic 50???????????????????

  • @GiuseppeFender mexico made 50's strat.

  • whats the name of this song?

  • @Megatrane youre a typical ignorant youtube douche

  • shiney :)

  • Hm, silver ring in the right hand, just like Eric huh? :D

    Really good playing dude, congrats

  • @Megatrane Never noticed your fact about the silver ring and Eric. But hey :)

    Thanks for listening

  • @Cnordland FUCK, I mean Eric Johnson, and you're playing Clapton. OMFG EPIC FAIL u.u

  • it's a mexican made?

  • @davidtheguitarman i think that it is chinese but im not sure :)

  • finally i found someone playing blues not forgetting this is all about feeling and nothing else

    thanks, keep on bluesin'

  • @alexisedme Keep the real blues alive :)

  • Is this a classic players 50s or classic series 50s?

  • Hi! What amp are you using? I like your sound. Thanks

  • It's Garage Band on my Mac

  • I have a MIM strat exactly like this one. I have to say I LOVE it. As the comments before me say... they are great for jazz and blues. The twang is awesome if that's what you're looking for. I paid 250 for mine and had it Setup and tlc'd by Mouridian Guitar Co. in Winchester massachusetts. they are the best in the biz... I will never take my guitars to anyone else. anyway... BEST 250 I EVER SPENT!!!

  • Is it possible to play heavier stuff with this guitar? I really like him but I don't know if it will fit my style

  • whats your style? fenders are ideal for blues, jazz, country, and light to medium rock. not so good for hard rock. but they are very versatile. its just the pickups aren't as powerful as humbuckers on les pauls and such so they arent as good for heavy metal. but then again hendrix made his strat sing and he played some pretty hard stuff

  • I play mostly punk. But if I would throw a humbucker in this guitar it would be okay I guess?

  • well yo can't exactly "drop one in". there isn't enough room. you can change the pickups to one thats hotter with some noise cancelling qualities (look at the dimarzio or seymour duncan sites). or you can guy a fender HSS whick comes with a humbucker at the bridge pickup

  • @uiterniels

All you have to do is buy a S/S/HB pickguard. Careful when you put an HB in there you want to make sure that the output is relatively the same as the singles or you'll kill your forth position. I put a rio grande bbq bucker in and it did this. It over powered my singles. Just didnt sound good. had to mess with th evolume too much as it had way more output than the singles(hot noiseless), even after dropping it down as far as it could go. Buy the new american special strat with HB

  • @oakster15 hehehe they work for metal.

  • im sure you can, its just not optimal lol. if your spending that much money to play metal youre gonna want to get one made for it you know? or something with a stronger pick up

  • Iron Maiden use Strats man

  • @uiterniels

yeah dude you can do hard rock, you just won't have as traditional of a hard rock sound. tom morello uses modded strats and doesn't have a super heavy distortion sound, but he gets that hard rock vibe and feel from the way he plays and the way the rest of the band sounds

but if you wanna get a hrd rock sound w/ a strat, check out the fender american special hss. they just came out and have a humbucker in the bridge that would be perfect for what you're looking for

  • @uiterniels yeah but just like with many guitars you wont get as much tone as the distortion will cover it up.

  • what do u think of the smaller 7.25 neck? i hadnt got to play it yet, is it much more difficult to get around on, or mess bends up?

  • i 'm thinking of bying this model

    is this a good choice?

  • Yes. But try some of them out before you buy it. Mine has a perfect neck. Love it :)

  • ah, skaffer meg en slik en i fiesta red til uken B-) woho! herlig spilling!!

  • You play just the same as I do, same thinkin' ;). I love the strat, I want it in Fiesta Red.

    Cheers

  • Cheers

  • is this the Fender Classic series 50s?

  • No, it's a mexican 50's serie

  • How much did you pay for that guitar and what model is it please?

  • It's a mexican made 50's strat. I paid 600-700$

  • what kind of strings are you using? 0.10?

  • jepp - 0.10

  • Did you change the pickup covers and knobs on that? I have the same guitar. :)

  • love the strat,great playing!!

  • Thank you so much!

  • lol cute doggie and sweet geetar

  • blackie

  • "Brownie"

  • i have your guitar xD

  • so cool

  • what song are you playing to in the begining?

  • Chicken Shack med "Get Like You Used to Be"

  • Tar jeg helt feil her, eller er det en Busk låt du Jammer til her?

    Mener det høres kjent ut...

  • Det er Chicken Shack med "Get Like You Used to Be".

Busk har gjort noe lignended, mulig denne sangen også

  • Aaahh.

    Jaja.

Tøff spilling er det alikevell ;)

  • very very god he looks like fender very very much and the song to god job man

  • Is this guitar, the Fender Strat Classic 50? made in mexico?

  • Jepp!

  • on the Mexico :)

  • Hi man! Did you change the pickups? I'm planning to buy one of these ones...

    Thank you

  • No, it's straight from the fabric pickups :)

But I'm changing them soon to custom Texas specials

I love the fat "u" neck on this guitar thats why I bought it.

Good luck on your guitar hunting

  • Thanks for you respond (or responding?) it help me a lot!

    : )

  • What exactly are 'custom' texas specials?

  • did you have any trouble adjusting to this guitar when you got it? i just bought one and im having a bit of trouble getting used to it, it's more than likely the v neck which feels great but i've always used u's. i know i will feel it eventually but i wondered if it was just me lol great playing by the way :P

  • Thanks for kind words. It took some time adjusting to the neck. I'm still adjusting the hight of the strings up and down to get i perfect. But one day it will be just right I hope :)

  • Great playing, beautiful guitar, where can I get that clapton track?

  • Thanks!

It's not Clapton, it's Chicken Shack with "Get Like You Used to Be" :)

You'll find it on the "Chicken Shack - The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions" great album

  • you're quite good, i see you're married :D, show kids how to play!

  • wow, thats not the hand for wedding rings. The hand is the left

  • is this a squire 50's strat?

  • No it's a Fender Mexico built

  • O, because i own a squier 50's strat and it sounds exceptionally well

  • nice playing. how are the fret wires on that guitar? Is it chunky or narrow? Can you slide with ease or you have to leave skin of your fingertips behind??:) one last question, is the fingerboard yellowish maple(tinted dark) or just white? thanks

  • Thanks!

The frets are "medium" chunky. The sliding is easy and I keep the skin on my fingers. The difficult part is the bending of the strings. I'm still adjusting the hight of them to get them to sing all the way to 21 fret when bending.

The finish on the neck is yellowish.

By the way, if your planning on buying a new axe, check out the new "road worn" collection from fender.

  • great job buddy,I want to jam with u

  • Are these the stock pickups? Just wondering, I'm probably going to buy this guitar and most likely throw in some Lollar Blondes.

  • shit but thankZzZz

  • Can you install a humbucker in the bridge, because the hole, is the hole for a single coil or for both?

  • The slots are only cut for the single coil, you would have to route more space for a humbucker.

  • yeah - try seymour duncan pickups, they do a pickup called the JB junior which is a single coil size but the pickup its self is a humbucker and a good one at that, they do other pickups too so there are more options, google them and have a look on ther site

  • not too shabby dude

  • hey man great playin i was wondering if that was a classis series strat or a classic players strat?

  • Thanks :)

It's a classic players strat with the "C" neck

  • Is this as good as an american stratocaster?

i might get one very soon!

  • Yeah it is, but I would change the pickups, then it's as good as the american

  • have you changed the pickups?

  • classic series or classic players??

  • classic players strat with the "C" neck

  • do you know if theres a big difference between this and an american standard strat? nice playing dude!

  • American standard has a slimer neck, and it looks newer in the wood. The sound is a little bit different to. The tuners and the bridge assembly has a different look than the standard

  • what colour is this? two colour sunburst?

  • Yeah, it's a 2 color sunburst, and it has a real nice red tone in the shading

  • yeah chicken shack man!!!!! awsome!!!

  • Should i buy this guitar or a fender highway one? .. which do you recomend? Thanks

  • I love the 50's style with all the clean lines. The pickguard is thin and all white with less bolts in it. Also like the yellow'ish finish on the mapleneck on the 50's. The tuners are also more classic with the old round shape. The peghead is smaler than the highway 1's, also something that i like. The 3 new American Vintage pickups have a great sound, and the fret board has only 21 frets. All in all I think it's up to your own taste. But as you might understand, I would go for the vintage 57str

  • Thanks .. although i asked for a sound-wise suggestion... do you think an american highway one fender would sound better than a mexican fender 50s? Cheers mate :)

  • :)

Sound-wise, I think the highway 1 has more power. Go for the highway if you want power :)

  • Nice one mate!..sounds great! ;)
