  • Can anyone tell me what she's saying at 1:15 and at 2:32 ?

  • @TunstallWH 1:15 "but like with the tide coming up, we more or less know what will happen"

2:32 "the only thing we have to do, is spell it out reeeeallly big"

  • @thewhatnow Thank you :)

  • zeitgeist movie com

watch the 2nd and the 3rd films from this site

  • how to cool the world down

    e

    m

    p

  • the world can be cooled down .

  • Comment removed

  • Global warming is the biggest lie of the 21st century in fact the planet has been cooling steadily since 2003 whilst CO2 emmissions have increased

1.. In 2002 after a mild winter you lot said "Due to global warming it is unlikely that your children will ever see snow in the U.K again

FACT.. Three cold winters in a row in U.K

NOT A SINGLE PREDICTION YOU GLOBAL WARMERS HAVE MADE HAS HAPPENED!!! I urge everybody to jump of this titanic before it SINKS!!!!!

  • Friends of the earth have caused the death of thousands of people world wide how can this be a powerful statement when it comes from people who have knowingly caused starvation world wide! boo.. you lot make me sick.

  • Very Powerful statement

  • Brilliant, The music really accentuates the story and the fact that a child is narrating makes an adult think, 'why does she know that I dont?'...adsolutely stella job Nic Balthazar and Hooverphonic.

  • I love the little English girls accent---She does make some serious points though on our 'Blue Planets" environment--:-8

  • This is total BULLSHIT.

  • ACT THE F*CK NOW!! :D

  • its incredibly sad to watch the truth happen and not having enough power to just make everyone listen

  • This video is so true and frighting. Goverments will never wake up because they need the money of the big companies, and the big companies are only concerned about making money.

So it is in our hand, the hands of simple people. What can we do???

Stop consumming or at least slow it down.

We do not need a fake world of fashion, high tec and other pointless products...

So think twice before buying a new phone or disposable junk cloths...

  • wow, this video is so great. but sadly it's all true...

  • I love this video, It is amazing! I wish people would watch videos like this and not just pretend that everything is alright, it annoys me so much when people don't face the facts!

  • Sensationalist. Just like the whole global warming platform. Google climategate.

  • The irony is that "Act Now" is all very well, but do what? Spell "it" out. What? What should we be doing and how.

    Otherwise totally awesome video.

  • BTW: I like suits!

  • stupid men in suits! We just have to shout louder and make sure they do understand.

  • And I wont listen to you either. Planet is warming up due to green house gas's is it... funny that as its now been the coldest winter for 30 years. I wonder when friends of the earth will understand that the earth is in a state of evolution. I say f***k the environment and buy a Range Rover. Oh and by the way, for all of you that think Gordon Brown is a part of your group.... just take a look at the vehicle he drives around in.... good example id say for all us Top Gear fans!

  • Sooooo naive!!! "The men in suits"? As long as we make others responsible for climate change and for any corrective action we're fairly screwed.

And nobody wants to accept the massive reduction in living standards that any solution to climate change would inevitably involve.

  • @mrbrommers1 you're SO right. We gotta stop the consumerism. We are the men in suits.

  • i'm so disappointed for what NOT happend in Kopenhagen (sorry bad english)

  • Im going to act now!

  • this is so fucking inspiring, such a powerful video.

  • and one thing at the end... in the news they said the natural global warming went back (you know there is a cycle of warming up and cooling down of the earth for millions of years.. yes? ...i hope so!) and that this would be a cathastrophe too. Now I don't know whats wrong by that but hey, nowadays warming is bad, cooling is bad, sun is bad and good, you can't eat or do anything without getting cancer or some kind of a virus and I am still allive... wish me luck guys ^^

  • oh and by the way:

    - i am a student, go to university by bus (dont have a car) and that consumes 45 minutes each way

    - i use a laptop (saves energy)

    - i drink water

    - and i dont have money for luxury becourse i dont have much time for work

i dont think i can live more responsible for the planet without loosing the possibility to have something in my future life beside the pure conscience not beeing one of the people that destroyed our planet...

  • haha " save our shelfes! "

  • truth be told! It's this generations responsibility. Time to wake up.

  • if we don't do something quick the end of the world might end in 2012. but if we start acting now and spreading the word we can save our plant from the fate of global waring. we can save the animals and we can save our shelf. SO ACT NOW!!!

  • @emily3m and if we try to learn writing before 2012 we might be able to send a letter to somebody we could ask to help us in that case.

but you are right, save the plant and our shelfes and do something against the end of the world ending.

i think i will burn some wood now... (just kidding)

  • GO VEGAN!

  • Well yeah, ok let us presume we want to do something, please everyone raise your hands who want to leave their car, come on do not be shy. Nobody? didn't think so, yeah

  • you're just a fat, lazy american. i ride a bicycle or go by bus.

  • You are wrong, neither am i fat, lazy or especially american :D my friend i am just pointing out that nobody wants to do anything...

  • well i do.

  • ok so that makes us 2, but can we really convince others? can we get this message to other douches who are just too stupid to care?

  • i guess only time has the power to convince the crowds... we're just not that far with our thinking. it's easy to say, but when it comes to real deeds, there's always an excuse to be found.

  • worms

  • The NWO is counting on more laws to control us, Your Gove is controlled by the wealthy elite and they own the banks, They use a problem, reaction , and solution method to create more laws and controls to take away more of our freedoms.

If you want to blame some one you need only look in the mirror. Change your self first, the rest of the world will follow. Buy Locally and find out what you can do to change your buying habits. Support local business, Barter

metahive dots x 10 hosting dots net

  • Change yourself first? Sure, do what you can but it isn't realistic to think that we can reduce emissions on a national and global scale without a changing government policies, laws, tax penalties and incentives. Some will use an excuse that it's all a NWO plot, that all the scientific institutions lie and falsify their research. That's a transparent excuse for ignoring the best science available.

Join the fight to save our future generations.

    WeCanSolveIt(dot)org

  • @MercuryBuddhist sadly i have to agree

  • @MercuryBuddhist thats a powerful statement but a very true one. Im with you!

  • why are they editing our posts?

  • This is a slick media campaign by the NWO

More laws are not going to solve environmental issues, When will People learn that we are the ones who can solve the problems.

We only need to change our Buying habits and behaviors, The banks and big business, (who are really the ones running the show) will be forced to change to more environmental and healthy alternatives.

  • If the global warmists really had such a compelling case, then would they be resorting to silly emotional appeals from children? Maybe they would. Childlike is after all about as high as their arguments ever get.

  • Children too need to be informed, after all, it it THEIR world that will be most affected.

As for the state of the science try reading what our historically reliable scientific institutions have been saying. There hasn't been a credible debate in the scientific community for years. HUMANS are warming the planet. Find ONE credible inst. that says otherwise.

    Google...

  • Geez, those leftist can sure organize a crowd! Don't you want them to organize you, too? These so called environmentalists (they're not) are on a power grab. If you bother to look at their"facts" you will find it is, in the main, garbage. The "hockey stick" graph is bull. Al Gore's movie was full of lies and distortions. They want 100 trillion dollars and control over your life. Do you want to sacrifice your job for a lie? That is a big price to pay for a feel good moment.

  • This is one of the most ridiculous - and evil - things I've ever seen. "There's goint to be too much water, or not enough." Which is it, too much or not enough?!? Can't you see it's the opposite? It is so obvious that this "Global Warming" thing is a scam, a fraud, an excuse for power, taxes and control. What a foolish nonsense. How sad.

  • IIm very sceptic to all this to but the risk of ignoring it is much more dangerous then do something about it, what is the worse thing that can happened, cleaner air? Thats not to bad.

And the answer to your question, too much or not enough water? both are right. The most of the ice is melting in to saltwater, and you cant drink saltwater can you?

  • global warming is not the only reason for switching to renewable energy. i think its sad how you are accusing something with more decent fundamentals than 90% of the world of being evil.

  • Lies, filthy lies. What disgusting brainwashing nonsense. You idiots are being rolled by people who want to own you.

  • Why don't F.O.T.E. EVER talk about 'Free energy' or 'Zero point Energy' ?

It's too late for solar or wind power.

    Get real, people.

FREE ENERGY IS ON THE WAY - believe it or not.

  • Personally do I not believe in global warming.

Call me mad or whatever you want to call me.

  • Great movie !!!

For sure: many kids understand, many adults don't have a clue. So become like a child again! (who said that already?)

  • lol, act the fck now!

  • AWESOME fucking video i even got the chills !!!

  • es muy importante ese mensaje act now

  • dnt read this(cuz it really wrks). u will gt kissd on the nearest frieday by the love of ur life. 2mara wll b the bst day of ur life hwever if you dnt post ths comment 2 at least 3 vids u will die withn 2 days

  • Data does support increased temperatures. Data aside, how about a little common sense? I have witnessed this increase in our Canadian climate in my 46 years of life without a doubt. Try to tell a northern Inuit that temperatures havent increased. And what about those glaciers? Why are they retreating at such alarming rates? Because temperatures have risen. What about rising sea levels? Its already happening i.e. Maldives, Indian Ocean.

  • Where can I take a look at this current data of average temperatures?

  • BRAVO!

  • People will only be willing to change if they know that they won't be alone to do it.

This means that people will be willing to change only if everyone is forced to do so because it's the only way that they will be ensured that their efforts aren't worthless.

This is what this video is asking. It is asking for men in suits to force solutions down on people.

  • love it.........there's only one planet, only one people and only one course of action...........lets work together

  • I don't believe in cutting emissions or the climate change theory but I really love conservation and planting a few trees is a divine act anyway.

  • I love this video. But instead of feeling powerless and simply point fingers at politicians, everyone can do one simple thing that will help more than anything else. The livestock industry produces more carbon emissions than all transportation united...Being on a plant-based diet is the best thing you can do to help save the planet from Global Warming. A vegetarian on a Hummer produces less carbon emissions than a meat eater on a Toyota Hybrid. Think about it!! If you want to save the planet!

  • In the words of Maddox

"For every animal you dont eat, I will eat three"

  • You have a point.

People feel helpless because they think that their actions on a personal scale won't change anything. They are right. Everyone must change their habits but everyone knows that it's not worth the efforts to do it alone.

90% of the population are conformist. They must have something to conform to from higher powers in order to change their habits.

  • That still doesnt change my problem with the "science". There is no proof that it is man made. Or that it is even happening at all.

  • This is a lame attempt at justifying your laziness.

  • How is that a lame attempt? All of the carbon acts we will do to prevent something that has not even been proven to be happening will ruin the worlds economies to a depression. Think before you talk.

  • To justify your inaction, you would have to prove through science that it is not happening. Since you can't do that, you have no reason to remain inactive and to wait for other people to compensate for your laziness.

  • The earth as not warmed since 1998. There is more ice on the earth now than there has been for 40 years. These are facts. Look at the average temperatures from places other than NASA because NASA's temperature gethering technique is flawed.

  • Really??? Do you honestly believe that humankind hasn't have a catastrophic affect on the planet? Ummm, let's see, take Endangered Species as an Example....Humankind did that too, or do you not have enough scientific evidence to prove that humans were responsible?

  • I never said that mankind does not ruin rivers and make animals extinct. You are changing the subject. What I am saying is that there is no evidence to show the earth is warming at all let alone because of man. Stay on topic.

  • Well, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the largest group of independent scientists (yes, INDEPENDENT, not funded by the fossil fuel industry, as are almost ALL of the "scientists" who deny human impact on climate change) have said that the Earth is considerably warmer than it was even 20 years ago; that the warming is MUCH worse than was originally predicted (the Artic ice sheet is down to 1/3 its previous level; predictions put it at 20% less by now); (cont)

  • and that human activity WITHOUT QUESTION has had and is having an irrevocable effect on warming the planet.

that's PLENTY of evidence for me, mate.

  • Sorry but why would the Climate change panel have people in it that did not think climate change was not happening. Look at hte world average temperatures and ice percentages. They will tell you the facts and not just someones opinion.

    Pillysrule

  • What part of the concept of "science" do you not understand, mate?

  • How is that relevant. Please disprove me with some evidence. What part of "evidence" do you not understand?

  • How is "science" relevant? Hello?

I don't have to provide evidence. The IPCC already has. If you can't read and research it yourself (like I have), that's not my responsibility. I'll save my hard work for people who genuinely don't understand and/or haven't already made up their minds to be contrarians.

And Andrew Bolt? Please, mate. He's the Australian equivalent of Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly. No one takes him seriously.

And he certainly isn't a scientist.

  • No one takes him seriously? That is why he works for a newspaper and has thousands of people who read his blog.

The reason you dont want to do it is because you cannot disprove we with factual evidence.

The IPCC's predictions are wrong. Did you not see the graphs I sent you? Andrew Bolt did not make them it was the CSIRO. Have you seen any of the actual graphs that show average temperatures?

    Pillysrule

  • And Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh are on TV. See anyone letting them make public policy? LMFAO

As I said before, the IPCC has already disproven what you said with SCIENCE, that thing that you don't understand.

Sorry, mate, I've seen the Arctic ice. I've seen the water in the Tuvulese living rooms. I've seen the results of Katrina, the Victorian bushfires, the Queensland floods, and the wide and varied impact of climate change.

  • 1. How is a bushfire the result of climate change? They happen all the time. That is the biggest (I dont use this word often) bullshit I have ever heard.

    2. Queensland is prone to flooding it is not uncommon.

    3. Cyclones and Hurricanes happen all the time.

SHOW ME how the IPCC has disproven the current data of average temperatures. The graphs I have shown you are the Average temperatures, not predictions. How can the IPCC disprove facts?

    Pillysrule

  • An increase in climatic events such as floods, cyclones, and hurricanes is additional support to increased temps. Why? Because higher temps means more evaporation, which means more moisture in the atmosphere, which means more floods, cyclones, and hurricanes. In regions where evaporation is greater than precipitation, more severe droughts are occurring.

  • There is not an increase in climatic events though. Are you going to blame recent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occuring around the earth on increased temperature aswell?

  • Dont get too far ahead of yourself Pillysrule. Before we move on, try this: Take an ice cube out of your freezer. Set it on the counter. Answer two questions: What happens to the ice cube? Why?

  • Dont get too far ahead of yourself yukonwest. Take an icecube out of your freezer and put it in a glass of water. Does the water level rise? Why not?

  • TEMPERATURE FIRST: If you take an ice cube out of the freezer and put it on the counter, it will melt. Why? Because of the heat. The two largest ice sheets in the world are melting. The Antarctic Ice Sheet is the largest; the Greenland Ice Sheet in the Arctic, the second largest. In between the poles, mountain ice caps and glaciers are retreating worldwide. i.e. Himalayas, Alps, Rocky Mountains, Cascade Range, the southern Andes, Mount Kilimanjaro. Why all of this melting?

  • BUOYANCY SECOND: An ice cube floating in a glass of water is NOT analogous to the melting Antarctic Ice Sheet or the Greenland Ice Sheet because they ARE NOT free-floating, rather, this ice sits on continents and when it melts, water levels most certainly rise.

  • Tim Flannery, one of Australia's leading climate scientists, has addressed the effect of climate change on the bush fires, floods and other natural disasters. I suggest you read some actual SCIENCE and stop relying on politically motivated hacks like Andrew Bolt. .

Mate, a graph is not FACTS. A graph can be interpreted many ways.

Really, you might want to have a look at scientific methodology and try to understand how experts come to their understandings of how things work. LMAO

  • A graph is facts. How can you interpret it in different ways? You look at a point and then see where is lines up with on the x and y axis. Easy.

The reason there were bushfires in Victoria is that they did not burn off because of "climate change".

Andrew Bolt provides facts to support his opinion. Tell me how that is a politically motivated "hack"

  • Oh dear.

No, mate, a graph is not facts. FACTS are facts. A graph may be constructed FROM facts, but anyone can interpret those facts however s/he wants to make the graph say almost anything s/he wants.

Again, I direct you to Tim Flannery, Australia's leading climate SCIENTIST, who explains how climate change is accelerating and exacerbating natural disasters (that means speeding up and making them worse).

Andrew Bolt provides no facts. He is not a scientist.

  • Pillysrule, Have you ever heard of a thermometer? Nobody now doubts that the world is warming. And few outside a hardened band of climate skeptics deny that the billions of tons of heat-trapping greenhouse gases that humans have put into the atmosphere are largely to blame. Hello!

  • I think a good protest would be for everyone worldwide to wet their pants simultaneously at a pre arranged time and date...eh?

  • Great video!!! Keep up the good work:)

  • Great!

  • "Climate change hasn't claimed any lives. What a dumb thing to day"... "Claiming lives? Prove it! Moron"...

The World Health Organisation estimates that 150,000 people died in 2000 due to climate change. They estimate that by 2030 climate change could cause some 300,000 deaths each year.

Not only this - between 250 million and 1 billion people will be displaced because of climate change by 2050.

Climate change is not a potential problem of the future - it is a real problem, NOW.

  • Even if it is not real, people still have to do more reaserch. And it has claimed lives. Many. Look at the endangered speces list. You must be a stupid republican to believe that it isn't true.

  • Thanks

  • Ah, you know it's a proper movement when nutters start comparing it to the Nazis.

  • Great video - Thanks for what you are doing!

  • climate change is already claiming people's lives in the poorer countries. We should urge the governments of the North to act now to stop climate change!

  • Claiming lives? Prove it! Moron

  • Climate change hasn't claimed any lives. What a dumb thing to day. but sadly typical of the AGW cult.

  • You know what has claimed lives? The prevention of climate change. A full tank of ethanol for a car uses enough crops to feed someone for a year. They arent eating because we are trying to stop something that isnt even happening. So he is right in a way.

  • I loved this video! To solve the climate crisis we need both a HUGE global movement to demand that key decision-makers see this as a priotity, AND grassroots action and economic relocalisation. This video does an excellent job of inciting the first!!

  • WOW, great video!!!

  • Our politicians act and find money to try to solve the financial crisis. They must do the same and more to save the earth. That's what we are expecting from them.

  • leave the man in suit to make decision but we ourselves are the one who take action, so ACT NOW and save our planet!!!! we dont need to wait for them!!!

  • Y2K! Seig Heil!

  • All of you who believe this drivle get off your computers. QUICK! YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING. I would love to think that the "facts" told by a child none the less were not actually considered. The earth has not warmed since 1998. This is FACT. Look it up on a website that isnt smothered with bias.

This is turning into a bloody cult.

  • Pillysrule... what the hell website is telling you that? Are you the little "See no Evil" monkey or what??? You must live in BF Egypt man. It was 85 degrees in San Francisco in November!

    Man, stop hiding from reality.

  • Proponents of human induced warming and climate change told us that an increase in CO2 precedes and causes temperature increases. They were wrong. They told us the late 20th century was the warmest on record. They were wrong. They told us, using the infamous hockey stick graph, the Medieval Warm Period (MWP) did not exist. They were wrong. They told us global temperatures would increase through 2008 as CO2 increased. They ....

  • were wrong. They told us Arctic ice would continue to decrease in area through 2008. They were wrong. They told us October 2008 was the second warmest on record. They were wrong. They told us 1998 was the warmest year on record in the US. They were wrong it was 1934. They told us current atmospheric levels of CO2 are the highest on record. They are wrong...

  • They told us pre-industrial atmospheric levels of CO2 were approximately 100 parts per million (ppm) lower than the present 385 ppm. They are wrong. This last is critical because the claim is basic to the argument that humans are causing warming and climate change by increasing the levels of atmospheric CO2 and have throughout the Industrial era. In fact, pre-industrial CO2 levels were about the same as today, but how did they conclude they were lower?

    Source-Andrew Bolt Blog

  • Either you are a mental patient, work for Standard Oil, or are a devote and slave of BUSH ENVIRONMENTAL LIES. Again, you fail to produce a viable website or reference. You are SO full of it, and fail utterly to produce any proof whatsoever. I discount your rambling as that of a madman. PROOF. I have PROOF. I SEE PROOF. You have none.

  • 85 degrees is San Francisco in November hey?

Britain is shivering through the coldest start to winter for more than 30 years, the Met Office has revealed.

The wintry start to summer follows Perths wettest and coldest November in 17 years -- the seventh-wettest on record.

  • Mondays 19-degree low temperature at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport was the coldest for the date in 60 years, the National Weather Service said.

The average temperature in November (in Charlotte) was 46.6 degrees, 6.2 degrees below normal. The last time November was colder was 32 years ago.

This year will be the (earths) coolest since 1997

the previous coldest Dec. 15 (in Boulder) was in 1926

  • This is exactly what climate science says is to be of expected due to global warming (extreme weather events and regional cold spikes). So, you are infact giving proof that climate science is right and global warming is happening. Thanks. ;-)

  • ACT......NOW!

  • Learn to reduce your own impact today,

    encourage friends and colleagues tomorrow.

If you have the courage, ask your political representative for genuine sustainability legislation, instead of greenwash tokenism.

  • wow, between 4 and 10 years to prevent runaway warming? that's scary.

  • How sad that is !

  • Act now! Turn off your plasma, get off the compter and stop warming your houses! Why wait for men in suits, like Al Gore who flies in in his private jet to tell us to cut down on our carbon footprint, to lead the way!

  • 4 - 10 years - let's all write to our local, state and federal reps this week! Demand at least 50% off 1990 emissions by 2020, and 100% renewable energy by 2020!

  • There should be more films and books for children that tell a good story and bring this issue to the next generation. Writers and film producers please get on the case.

  • ACT THE F'CK NOW!! I love it!

  • Great, keep up the pressure. This is the biggest issue that humans have ever faced throughout history. In 100 years me might all be just that - history!

  • action on climate change now!!

  • we moeten handelen, nu!

  • true

  • Do!

  • Excellent! Proves that as we all know, "the child is father to the man."

  • It's now or never.

    Irene

  • ACT NOW!!!!!!!

  • Act now!

  • Too true and too scary. WE NEED TO ACT NOW!

Take action - contact your politicians today and tell them to vote for strong environmental measures!

  • strog video! hope pollitians understand

  • that was really cool.

  • Fantastic video!

  • Very good

  • Thank you for saying this for us all!

  • This is a great video. I love the storyline.

  • Their generation will curse us. They've already started!!

  • Nice video. The time is now.

  • Support reduced CO2 emissions!

  • Brilliant video (although I also liked it better in Dutch). Four years, people. That's scary.

  • I almost liked it better in dutch, but still, it's an amazing video. ACT NOW!

  • We have do something.

    Let's cool the planet!

  • Right on Friends - Let's cool the planet!

  • Oh, did anyone see that the average temperature went down 0.2 centigrade this year, but CO2 emissions increased. Makes you think? These bastards only have a job to promote global warming.

  • Keep up the good work!

  • This is such BS. LOL, you gotta love these global warming fanatics, at least they make for some good entertainment.

  • Needs to be watched!

  • well put - lets hopre people listen

  • We are running out of time here - let's support all those organisations campaigning on our behalf to make the top polluters of the world adhere to stricter emission cutting goals. Together we can make this planet a little less worse for the next generation.

  • great pictures. simple message, strong impact :-)

  • thanks for making this

  • We must do our part and leaders must think on the next generations to come. We cannot leave them without a home... our only home. Great video.

  • Everyone should take care for the planet!

  • :-D

  • Excellent message coming from the hearts and minds of people with a clear understanding of the importance of taking action to reduce global warming.

  • great great I'm off to act!

  • great video! i'm sending it to everyone i know :)

  • That is a great video:)

  • The UN climate negotiations are happening as I type. We absolutely need our world governments to ACT NOW!

  • great video

  • We all need to do our bit too.

  • I will tell them!

  • Great video.

  • Great clip! Let's act now!

  • animation and creativity and messages a good combination
