Its been 2 yrs since the Dr told us my Mom had gone to be with the Lord. The Heavens rejoiced as she stepped through the gates and our hearts broke. I agree. People always comment about his singing. I think his true talent is music (that piano) and just finding those voices that make you cringe! However, his voice is by far not the worse I've heard. =]

My God, My moms died over tow years ago and the first notes of this song had me crying. Thank you Kirk. I will never forget my mom but the pain still lingers. It is much easier with Christ in my life

I lost my mother when I was 13 years old to liver and colan cancer. I am now 27 and it still hurts and is very painful.

Hey I just stumbled into this song and I just lost my aunt who was like a mother to me I dont know if it feels the same as losing a real parent but it messed me up its still hard and feels like it gets harder each and everyday....I dont think her being my bilogical mother would have made us closer then what we was.... I just stumbled onto this song....I am really touched by this song fo real...My mother went thru alot before she left here, ....many siezures, 4 aneurysms, and Dialysis for five years....just alot but God, its funny how i just cant let you go even tho that in my eyes was reason to think otherwise...I jus thank him for the faith and peace of mind real talk.....

Why he keeps saying he can't sing is beyond me. True, he not a Fred Hammond or, J. Moss, John P. Kee. But he certainly can hold a tune. Listen to the other posting when he's singing "Melodies from Heaven" or Singing with Georgia Mass on "Joy". He not the best, but he surely isn't the worst
