Question...I have been searching for a synth pedal that will give me a super heavy "dubstep" style sound. Is this thing a good choice? didnt really hear anything in the demo that was what i was looking for.
whats that intro song? picking up a vintage one on ebay and want to know some good tunes to play on it. sound like chameleon by Herbie off of headhunters.
why, on every single pedal review, do at least 2 or 3 people say "can I sound like this band with it" or "can I get that one tone from that one song with it?" ... thats one of the biggest problem with most of today's mainstream music, they all try to sound like each other and/or great bands from the past. Frick man, I don't care what other bands I can get this to sound like I just care about the fact that it is quite an amazing sounding and versatile pedal, who wants to stick to covers anyways?
would this be able to kind of copy like an organ with this pedal?? if not could you give me an idea of a pedal that might be able get kind of close sound to that?? sorry for poor english
@natnat5577 Agreed. Funny enough Manson did a cover of BOTH Down in the Park and Sweet Dreams. This guy might have been listening to Manson covers before doing this review!
Is there any difference bewtween this pedal and the bigger original version apart from size? Different components maybe? The original pisses me off every time i think about putting it in my pedal case.
I get a bit tired of all of the stroking some people do with Andy here, but I have to admit that going from Rush to Marley to Manson did indeed give me a smile. Good reviews though, seriously.
I love the new size BUT WHY DIDN'T YOU MAKE PRESETS.... I have this pedal, but it would be a million times more useful with the ability to have presets.
@AFNYOAQIS it was but i dont think he is allowed to play actual songs so he has to change them a bit, its because of copyright, i hate copyright sometimes
I love this pedal. I bought one 2 years ago and it's one of my favorites. It's so versatile and has a huge range of sounds. It's really an instrument in itself and I can see that it may take years to master. I am constantly finding new applications for it within my music.
@xsallareas - We're well under 40, we just listen to a lot of music from all eras and styles. With the magic of the internet pretty much every piece of music ever recorded is readily available for the curious listener, so there's really no excuse. Know your music history, kids. Get some culture!

@mynmyself I think he means adding an additional low frequency oscillator as a modulation source for the filter. BTW if you put this pedal in front of a rotary emulator or add alittle bit of flanger or chorus effect, you get some pretty cool sounds out of it.
@Razwithz Any heavy fuzz will square off the waveform and give you more of a "video game sound". But if you really want that 8bit sound, try "8bit fuzz" pedal from FX Doctor.
He shouldn't though. Its a very informative review with good guitar playing. I do however wish they'd explored to what extent you can trick this out as a ring modulator. I'm still very tempted to buy it as it in no way gives up the funk.
All these filter matrix boxes are MONOPHONIC! Just was some yuts doing chords on a MOOG, glitch city. Anyone who does not know polyphonic from monophonic really should not be using boxes. The POG and HOG are different technology than this, this is really an old box I had back in the late 70s, cool actually, you can get some great fusion tones. Much more musical than the was too expensive Moog units. And seriously, the guy could not pronouce, MOO-G who does not know that?
not for nothing but bob moog said himself in a documentary film that it was pronounced moo-g, mogue and moch. bob moog pronounced it himself as mogue. aparently not as many musicians as you think know how to pronounce it porperly. search on here for 'Moog on Moog.mp4' he also claimed he didnt really care how people pronounced it and that both are correct moo-g and mouge.
