And I find your few strange...Im no fan of anarcism , but isnt anarcism the idea of trusting in people to work together and do the right thing without a state and mainly function through voluntary services...How can anarcism prevail if you do not trust in the people to make the right decisions and realise the BNP are wrong..
@DuffmanIRL That fine. Anarcism is the idea of getting rid of the state and replacing it with volunteer groups or so I have heard. In some areas like law enforcement and medical the state run tax funded system is neccessary. Most people will not become doctors without pay or police officers without pay.The Health care would fall apart .No Taxation would mean the gradual decay of infrastructure and industry.Im going into engineering...I enjoy it...but I definitly wont do it for free
@owen2612 Anarchism is a vision of a highly organised democratic society and a method of organisation based on democratic principles. Instead of the state we want a democracy. Abolition of the state doesn't mean the absence of a national organisation that gets things done or the subjugation of working people who have to work for nothing 'for the glory of the revolution'.
@DuffmanIRL well yeah but thats the whole point isnt it... Would blocking the BNP from talking give the BNP a larger platform in Ireland due to media attention.. The thing Nick Griffin was going to was a debate on immigration.. Now would it not be easier just to let someone like that speak and get flattened intelectually .

As I wrote in my previous post, the Nazis in our country have been sent a message; You will be physically opposed if you come out in the open. If Nick had been allowed his rant, the message would be one of encouragement. Do you think Nazis will be convinced not to stab people to death by a well structured, incisive argument?
@DuffmanIRL I think people should be smart enough to tell that Nick Griffin is bad news. I dont agree with him being being in trinity college (Its daft) , the same way I dont want a radical of any kind at trinity. But I trust people of Ireland to realise hes trouble as most of Britian have. I dont really care if hes allowed in or not because I know most Irish arent that stupid to be lured in.
