I started college in 1980. Ronald Reagan, Animal House, SNL was young, Star Wars came out, Iran hostage crisis (well, it ended day RR was sworn in, he had mentioned something about turning Iran into a "parking lot",) and the best Rock ever. In the 90s, 'political correctness,' wimps and lefties made a come-back and finally took control of schools, and the Po-Lice started getting Real effective. In the 00's, well that speaks for itself...

May the Pendulum swing back, but I've given up.

Pop was the big thing. Michael Jackson wasn't the Frankenstein monster. It was a time when you could tell your woman how you felt by playing a song.
