  • I guess your Flip and my Flip UltraHD have one thing in common: It doesn't pick up the noises elevators make as well as it really is. My Macy's videos have a KONE that makes a loud bang when it stops at 2, but it sounds wimpy in the video.

  • the elevators motor sound was quieter at the time it is just louder now i dont know why either

  • Machines are strange sometimes. Same thing happens at work with some of our test equipment: quiet one moment, noisy the next.

  • Like the bell, and best of all, no "Dover Buzz".

  • i would like to retake them but i am afraid to because of the way the motor sounds no and i can only do it on the weekends because during the week the traction and hydraulic are always very busy but i might anyway sometime i dont know if they need new motors or if they have had new ones put on

  • That's what the on-board phone is for, either that, or have your mobile phone on you. My suggestion is to actually go at the very beginning of visiting/opperational hours, whichever you like best, so it's not crowded.

  • when the elevator goes down in this video you can hear the motor just a little bit but it makes that noise going up and down now and it is louder than in the video

  • Neat chime for a Dover.

  • these elevators motor makes a funny sound now i dont know if they need new motors or if they have new motors its kind of hard to film these or the medical offices elevators during the week they are both busy i dont like riding the traction elevators no more cause of the sound

  • Nice Dover!

  • yes it may be a nice dover but i rode on this same car two days ago and the motor sounded very terrible i think it s where thier in a lot of extra use right now because of the construction workers using the staff elevator

  • I think this elevator is from the mid 1980's, because of the "Squareback" Dover logo, and the distance is 50 feet with 250 FPM speed. Also, the motor is 15 HP, since it's the service size 4000 lb. elevator.
