if you want to use whole pack, soak and get meat of imli only and rest thraw away. I take 2 big box of date for that pack. And 1 box is abot 1lb of date.
Loved the video.. Gud one Bhavna... Ok here u go... This ques is for the viewers... Can any one tell me how many "You Know" popped up in this video ???? ;)
How do you freeze these chutneys - just keeping in air tight container is enough is it? And how long do they last in the freezer or fridge? Thanks! Love your videos.
I think your the only one who have very very very less amt of dislikes for every video of yours and I love that cos am a great fan of yours for your beautiful recipes... It really makes me cook more and more...
your measurements are perfect!!!! :-) Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have less dislike because I have less subscribers and views so far...hoping that everyone like my vids. I always try my best to show detail recipes...thanx and enjoy!
hi bhavna , ur recipies are lovely, I love to spend my time in kitchen now. I have a quick question, what is the name of hand blender you are using while preparing all chutneys. Where can I get one from. Ur answer will be appreciated
I love your recipes and your uniqueness to the videos.
Have you tried making this recipe:
Blend 5 medium tomatoes with, handful of coriander, 2 cloves garlic and one green chilli. Add salt to taste. It's really wonderful with samosa and also kichri.!
Wonderful video with great tips at every step. I really really love to watch all your videos as they are always so informative...I love all those indian dishes that you showed at end and I couldn't stop myself. I ran to the grocery and picked all ingredients and made all three chutneys...I am enjoying real big time all those chutneys at almost breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Thank you Bhavna! I wanted to share something.. I put peanuts or roasted Chana dal (daaliya in Gujarati) while making cilantro chutney. This gives good consistency to the chutney. Never tried with sesame seeds. Will try out this time. Keep your recipes coming!
thanks - looks so tempting! i too find hand blenders very convenient to use-less washing of bulky parts and less mess. oh yes-i agree with the other poster, your hair has grown real long (from what I saw last time)-u r looking good with long healthy hair.
Thanks Bhavna for the chutney recipes. Please let me know the shelf life of each if these churneys in refrigerator. Also please tell me how do you freeze them - in ice trays?
Hi dates can be found at most supermarkets these days in the USA. If you want to freeze, just freeze in freezing container, doen't have to be in ice tray. But if you wish then fill ice tray with chutney and cover with plastic wrap or put the whole tray in the plastic bag then when they become ice cube, take out and freeze in ziploc bag or container.
@techiedkb So whenever you want, have just one or two cubes, defrost and use. If possible let it defrost at room temprature instead of using micro. About self life of chutneys, cinlantro chutney can stay about a month. Tomato chutney, a week and date and tamarind chutney, about 2 weeks. Enjoy!
The imli is usually sold in a solid pack at the indian store. How much of the pack is to be used for the imli date chutney?
