I have done it before and it is possible you just have to test out your nail polishes to see that they dont come off when you apply the acrylic but it has worked for me hope it helps =)

What type of top coat do you use? I have been using a UV cured top coat but have seen it get very thick and unmanageable after about 9 uses or so. I would like to find a new top coat (UV cured) that will not smear nail art or other polishes. This was a great tutorial! And I really liked your creative use of rhinestones and beads! Very simple, but very effective! Classy without being bulky!
