  • the music kills it

  • I thought I was back in time watching Black Sheep Squadron. I forgot how fond I am of old aircraft especially the Corsair. As apposed to the Chemtrail KC tankers. :^/

  • The lack of cooperation between the Army Air Corps and Navy was ridiculous. The Corsair appeared in 1942 with the speed, legs, and adaptability-making it a worldbeater. This airplane could have went all the way with the bombers in Europe, and the Air Corps did'nt have that capability for another couple years. Imagine the great air battles with Messerschmidts an Focke Wulfs in those cold skys of long ago.

  • Yeah Baby!!!! I love the Corsair, and fly my R/C Corsair just like this everytime I take her up.... almost 200 flights now... What a beautiful airplane in the sky, real, or R/C.. :)

  • This is the first time ive ever actually heared the fabled "whistle" in a corsair....

  • Nice landing dude.

  • every vid i have ever seen the pilots are at idal this pilot has this plane balls to the wall, on the edge!! no wonder the japanees butts drew up whwn they heard them coming!!!

  • The sweetest sound my ears have ever heard, especially at 3:25

  • Why must people fill otherwise awesome aviation videos with music? Let's just hear the engines without the background noise.

  • Bloody music!

  • The whistle sound had nothing to do with a super charger but instead was caused by the wing mounted air intakes.

  • Aww, that pass at 3:25 is savage.

  • Is that a CAS?

  • Is that the original engine? I don't hear the whistle sound from the super charger when it flies by. How fast was he flying? Looks kinda slow, perhaps that's why he doesn't have the super charger engaged.

  • So glad you didn't cover up the sound of the engine with the music! The Corsair is my favorite WWII fighter. How does this one differ from the F4U?

  • @fortress1133 No difference other than the ID plate. Kinda like the difference between a Willys MB and Ford GP Jeep.

  • @roadstarman58 Thank you for the explanation!

  • Great demo of the F4U's capability.

    Great video work too!

    8^)

  • Who's the pilot?

  • Keith Skilling.
