Definately Carson Beckett was the best character on SGA - I just watched Sunday a couple days ago and it was so sad but so well written - and I love Paul McGillion's real accent.. he is an absolute hot hot man. "Perfectly Charming" :)

According to the "higher ups" Carson isn't dead but he's dead. If that makes sense - I haven't seen "Sunday" but there's some scene that clues you into it and Paul McGillion is going to be a reaccering actor so Carson can't be dead dead...I hope...anywho! They do 'kill' the character in the episode 'Sunday', no two ways about it, he's engulfed and toasted in a big cjeesy cg fireball and a funeral is held! As Bones would put it, 'He's Dead, Jim!'. However, this is sci-fi...supposedly no one ever really dies in scifi and partially thanks to fan campaigning they have decided to resurrect the character for at least 2 eps. Possibly more if we fight hard enough goto Save Carson dot com :-D
