The story meens to know the characters and to see what hapend with them even offline.MH Dont have story of the characters even online... And I want you to know that MH you know that nothing is gonna happen too!!!When you finish it what more you want?GE=good MH=boring and its not fun to play this game where your choosing class of weapon,but in GE you can have Gun and Sword not just gun or just sword

is that not in all games so? when you finished the game it makes no fun more playing it because you know there will be nothing more happen?

thats why many people like MH more then GE because you can play it as long as you want (until you have done every quest what realy need more then 100Hours)

@BlackWyvernkiller GE is only good for the storyline, MH is only good for quests. I've only played MH1 in ps2 and it was fun, but boring running around the same map over and over again, even though with different quests. I like GE better than MH, imo, but the game ends too soon. =/ But yeah... both games are great.

Its all good and well saying that mhp3 is better (because it is) but you have to remember that mhp3 is something like the 6th or 7th title in the series, they've had ages to improve and perfect the series, God Eater is just starting out, that's not to say that god eater isn't a good game, its just hasn't had the time to develop.

Maybe when the 4th or 5th instalment for God Eater comes out it can hold a candle to MHP3, until then I cant compare them really.

you said you played MHP3rd, so i think you don´t understand it because it is jap? if you would understand jap and read what the NPCs are talking you would maybe understand the story. MH series have not the best stories but it make deffiently fun! btw there is a MH manga with story

Yet another close-minded gamer, probably less than 15 years old, spoiled by the bright colors and "realistic visuals" of mainstream noob-stick titles like Call of Duty or Halo. About as typical as video games made in japan with anime aesthetics.

That said, I am hella hyped for this game-- been playing the CRAP out of the japanese demo and I'm excited to go through the full story in a language I can understand. xD
