You're gonna want to use a five string to play this tune as it is the fifth string which gives the piece its jingle jangle feel. As for finger pickers, no, you don't have to wear them. I play using my fingernails and that works fine, however I don't think it is possible to flatpick this tune. You're gonna have to fingerstyle it I'm afraid,

@glynnball Picks are really recommended yesy. It's amost impossible (at least for me) to play without them.

Thanks for the lesson, hopefully when i practise enough one fine day i can play this song. Only too bad you can't see the frets up close, so you really see what you're playing and the voice is a little bit to soft. Overall very good!
