ok, ive been playin for 3 years now and ive made 1st chair in the region audition....i also play jazz songs.....to get that sound you loosen your embrochure and then raise your tounge really high like the "cast hiss" thing you learned as a begginner, hope this helps =D

nice playing! from one clarinet player to another, i would suggest holding down your bottom three fingers while playing your middle g (or "open g")..it allows you to play more in tune :P it was reaaaally awesome though =D thanks so much for the link to the sheet music - i might use it for a jazz audition :P
