My dad is from here from the village of Amuri.I, like many of my fellow Cook Islanders live in NZ (born n raised) so miss out on all the fun. I've only been twice but enjoyed it immensely.The water is really like it is in the clip,good snorkelling as theres plenty of fish in the sea. Love the seafood like clams and crabs etc...

Aitutaki is my favourite place on earth. Been there twice , even got married there and Honeymoon island is my favourite motu. It is unbelieavably beautiful!!!!

Akaiami motu is where my family have a holiday place. Parents own a house and land in Arutanga. Aitutaki is beautiful. Im stuck here in NZ but plan to go back to this untouched fishing mecca.

Aitutaki is not a major commercial destination like Cancun.This footage is taken between Tekopua and Tapuaetai Motu (One Foot Island) in the south east of the lagoon. Its absolutely stunning...

When I was a kid in Portugal, I just could not get enough of water, from the moment we arrived at the beach until we left I was always in the water, even if my lips turned purple, in the water was I! @HaliFins You can stay at Aitutaki Lagoon Resort on Aitutaki. Fly into Rarotonga and have a night at the Raratongan Hotel but spend the rest of the time on Aitutaki.... It is spectacular!
