just by reading this story u can tell the story is so deep. If u hadnt played the game then u probably cannot grasp what this vid is trying to tell u. Every sentence introduces a new character or alien race that u know nothing about, all while trying to continue the story. This game is best left played. But then again i heard they were making a Mass Effect movie. If so, i hope they make it to this storyline and not some made up prequall or something.

Play the first game. In my opinion, it's a better story. While ME2 has funner combat. Still, the first is essential gaming. Period. Even without the existence of the sequel, ME1 will be, forever, one of the best games of all time. To miss it just because it's slightly older is a tragedy done to yourself.

Well, really no. But you will be completely lost, Mass Effect is about the Story line. The best story line in a video game I think. You willl want to get the first one ASAP because you can transfer your first game character to the second game...which is freaking awesome....Get the first one dude, you will be happy you did.

yeah i know now too, but hey, considering i made this vid while my 360 was on 'holiday' and i did everything out of my memories, it isn't all that bad. BUT, you are captain shepard when you go to Eden, only after your inauguration as a SPECTRE you become Lt. Commander ;)

The game was awsome, currently in my 2nd playthrough. I can;t wait until ME2 comes out, I hope they have more planets to explore and more side missons though... and obviously some other things they could improve on.
