  • if you're not an atheist, i don't know how you live your life.

  • hmm if you dont like it dont listen to it

  • if all the government would listen to bad religion the world could be a better place to live

  • all the comments are from 1 year ago, what the fuck happened?

  • @Fugolas youtube deleted this video, now I don't why this video is online again

  • this videos is back

  • whats ska mean?

  • @ripbob7 "ska" is a music genre "ska music"

  • its ok guys! we're all gonna die!

  • 2,042,539.......... good punk rock.

  • anybody who calls people athiests for listening to this is just another facist so fuck off

  • Ignorance is bliss hey Yoops?

  • whats bad religion? what religion is it

    ?

  • its probably agnostic or something idk. you cant really get the answer to that question, people have different opinions like for example some1 says that a bad religion is catholic, then some1 else would start fighting with him cos the other person doesnt think its a bad religion. did i explain it clearly?

  • listen to "I want to conquer the world"

  • So i was just in class watching a movie on protests in progue & said to myself: Damn if only these people listened to bad religion they could make informed arguements instead of repeating old rederic without knowing what they r saying. This video makes me glad. for the most part these posts under me are informed and intellectually grounded. there arent furious uninformed people on here spitting unsupported retoric they picked up from the communist manifesto. bad religion teaches intelectualism

  • Aren't you a little too intelligent to be listening to poser punk?

  • Dude you cant say that! Bad religion is not poser punk. greg graffin is a genius and just because the songs are melodic and intelligent it doesnt make it poser punk. you are entitled to your opinion but i have never thought of bad religion as a sell out band or anything other than punk. Graffin has always placed the messages in his music above all else, including profit or popularity. Its not about sounding good (although bad religion does) or appealing to the masses. its about telling truth.

  • This shit Rox

sorry, I have no political commentary

    I just enjoy the music

    and the message is RIGHT!

  • Oh, and Bad Religion rocks.

  • Wow you can really hear the diff between NY-punk and Cal-punk.

  • It wasn't a counterpoint to the hippie movement, most punks just didn't like hippies because they were peaceful.

  • They are using the system to get their message across to as many listeners as they can, using the media available. They have been doing since before they were "rich". The only way to change a system, political, educational, musical or whatever, is from inside. And to get inside you have to play the game. for a bit...

if you want to see punk music make a difference at grass roots level, check out Absolut Pantz.

  • And it shows. Incredibly ignorant post.

  • I love bad religion and i am not a communist, i am a capitalist

  • Wow, you miss the point of many of their songs, don't you?

  • These guys used to have some kick ass tunes!! What the heck happened??

  • They eventually get old

  • Their new stuff is still great. It's just had its rough edges polished.

  • these money punks shouldn't be catchy. Poser punk is poser punk.

  • I'll have to agree with that comment to an extent but they are catchy as hell. I walk around with there tunes in my head.

  • hugo weaving + trent reznor = greg graffins face

  • Greg Graffin + a Suit + Sunglasses= Agent Smith lol

  • LoL

  • fuckin' great song... Full of a special kind of optimism...

  • Special kind of Optimism? Sorry but I have to say that saying that is pretty questionable...

Because I think the song is about "If the impossible happens then there will be no more sorrow"

(If you want to continue this debate or are not to good in English [Meine muttersprache ist Deutsch])

  • Death is going to beautiful with no more sorrow!!

  • Good riddance

  • the only similarity they have is that they are all intelligent, incredible and awesome!!!!

  • Nice Band

  • I like the rhythm and overall the lyric!

  • well, if you want to be technical there's not much evidence to substantiate that claim, but even if there was and you assumed the bible was correct despite the inconsistent claims between the canonical gospels he doesn't meet the requirements the bible puts forth to be a messiah in the first place and fabricates/bends other "prophecies" to be messianic requirements which aren't in the first place.

  • I looove the guitar solo in this song

  • your a fag

  • You're an ignorant person.

  • dude, just bugger off would ya? He likes this song. No amount of insulting will change his mind. You're only making yourself look foolish by trying. Just ease of everyones backs and enjoy the songs you like. Rather than badmouthing sonsg you dont like that others do.

  • A few years back when i first saw the title for this song i thought "aw man i hope this doesn't suck" Bad Religion has proved me wrong there it's one of my favorite songs by this band. Bad Religion friggin rocks.

  • you sound like a bitch

  • Comment removed

  • Seeing as I received a similar message from you all i will say is that i was stating my opinion about one of my favorite Bad Religion songs.

  • best song when you drive!

  • True true

  • one of the best BR songs

  • im sick of these guys that says "This is not the BR i like" , it doesnt matter how it sound , it matters whats it about

  • No...it matters how it sounds also. This song is growing on me now, though. I don't like the people that jump on a change a band does and hates just because it's different.

  • Hmm. I was a huge Bad Religion fan at one point. Then I started liking various other kinds of music, most perhaps very 'negative'.

Then I hear this right now, not sure they even exist anymore, and I love it.

Just the idea of just taking 'Sorrow' and making a fucking completely positive song about it, is absolutely brilliant.

  • its not really positive man.

hes saying all of this stuff that would make sorrow go away, but all of it will never happen.

its kind of a big circle actually.

  • Fuck I love this song !!! Could NEVER get sick of it..

  • christ, this is an amazing song. easily one of the best i've heard. gives me an indescribable feeling.

  • haha i get the warm fuzzies from this song.

I used to get the same feeling years ago at church. I think that says alot about the subjectivity of human experience opposed to the reality of the supernatural lol.

  • what religion are they?

  • bad

  • the bad one

  • I love when he says will you guard me now

  • NO MAMES!

  • check out break on through they are from miami, cool stuff tho

  • yeah bro i saw them too i lost my voice by the end of it dont get much better then sunday night awesome times

  • booooooooo

  • I didnt know someone could read my mind...im looking into copyright infringment.....lol

  • whaaaaa c vieux comme musique mais je me rappelle de tout mes trips ou presque lol vive la drogue !!! quand jecoutais sa crisse que on pensais que rien ne pouvais nous arreter

  • or nicholas cage!!!

  • A classic dumbass right here LOL

  • haha i concur

  • muito legal!

  • cool story VVV

  • I once had a friend that liked this band. He was a dick

  • anythng free is a good deal haha

  • this is one of the songs that got me into punk. :)

  • Yay for following the flock, eh? (@Kadadj)

And not to mention all the three hundred other things I could say right now, but... I just don't feel like it...

I ADORE this band, even though this isn't the most typical Bad Religion song it still is a great song, not my favourite but a great song nonetheless...

And Greg once again gives proof that his singing style dramatically changed since Suffer

  • BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bad religion can do know wrong.. One of the few punk bands that manage to deliver good with every song and album... I'm seeing them tonight :)

  • Black Sunday.

  • bad religion is great this song is great everything they do is great! everyone shut the fuck up and stop bitching ive been a fan for years and this is one of my favorite songs of theirs.

  • Thanks for the lesson in sociology and technology. Believe me, I took advantage of your profound suggestion, but my point still stands. This is a poor song for Bad Religion.

  • I agree, i don't like this one much

  • i think the lyrics aren't typical for bad religion, but i like how melodic it is and greg's singing in the chorus is fantastic, especially the last "and THERE will be SOOOORRROW no more", but i do understand that for real punkrock bad religion fans this isnt one of their best songs.

its not one of my favorites either but i do like it a lot.

  • Coming from a Bad Religion fan of The Gray Race and No Substance era, I must say this song is atrocious.

  • Times change, people change, taste change, and so does sound. and do you know what the nice thing about modern technology is........if you dont like what you are watching or listening to, you can turn it off, change the station, go to another website, or look at another music video.

  • actually the gray race and No Substance albums suck for BR standards compared to this album. This is coming from a once Big BR fan

  • I think Recipe for Hate is their lyrically best album

(and that's the most important aspect of BR)

but I think The Gray Race is good as well...

But in the long run it's all just a matter of what one likes or dislikes...

  • go hate on Bad Religion some where eles cunt bag

  • Pearl jam should be opening for them

  • lol @ u

  • yea i know right

  • they are opening for pearl jam at the spectrum in philly ..im going

  • haha i wish i had speakers like those @ 2:24

  • best song ever

  • is this band atheist?

  • Sure are

  • Their singer is, their (current) guitarist believes in god but isn't religious, their bassist is spiritual but not religious either, and IDK about their drummer.

  • Then I ask you Sir, Why is it in the first portion of the song which is "Father, Can you Hear me?" "Hearding Ground" I mean, listen to the lyrics Sir. He may not believe in God. But Clearly, he knows that he exsists. It is more of a scorn of bitterness, than illrefute. Watch the Video. He Looks up @ 0:16 SEC(s): Well, this is just my food for thought. Nothing Aginst you Mr. MGN: Good day all :-)

  • killed it

  • Yeah. They like to do religious-style songs like this for the irony. You can also find covers of stuff like "I Saw the Light" and "Noel" by them.

  • bad religion is fucking great

  • bad religion is the shiat.. the song "you" is in the game on tony hawk..

  • one of the greatest songs ever. bad religion are my favourite band

  • ummmm,

    Try to listen to :

    No More Sorrow

:) this band is good not bad

  • ...are you having a stroke?

  • Greg Graffin is awesome

  • Comment removed

  • Well outside of the punk community Bad Religion doesn't have much of a "name". I haven't listened to Mongol House, but if they admire BR's songwriting that's not a bad thing. If they're trying to mimmick them... well that is VERY bad.

  • moron, bad religion is huge everywhere.

  • Really? I hardly know anybody who listens to them. In fact most people I k now that do enjoy Bad Religion were introduced to them by me. But whatever. I guess you and I have different definitions of "huge".

  • yeah, it's really hard to say bad religion is a 'huge' band. i think that they're probably better known in most other parts of the world than in most american towns/cities. in my high school of 1000 or so people, i was one of i think... 3 people who even knew of them. and i introduced those other few people to them. they are very popular, but more so in certain places as opposed to others.

  • it sounds like country singing with partially soft rock.....bad mix

  • Pucking all over my PC

  • I like this song and I dont give a shit if is punk or not. if I like a fucking song I like it period. Who the fuck has the right to tell me what the fuck this is . just shut the fuck up. Long live Bad Religion!!!! who has the right!!! who? you sound like fucking self righteous preachers.

  • I love God and this song!

    -Khristian

  • I tend to think the first three tracks off the same album as "Sorrow" are quintessential, cutting-edge Punk Rock. You can't take a deliberately slow song and paint a band with a broad brush because it doesn't sound hard enough. Most good bands write slow songs in addition to faster, more incisive ones.

  • 2007 - Bad Religion and Dropkick Murphy's....

    BEST SHOW EVER.

  • I use-to think this was about his father when I was younger -- but I see it's about "the father", now. Song makes more sense to me.

  • good point stan!

  • bad religion may be good i like it but i got to say that offspring is sorta better

  • but you have to realize that its bands like bad religion that set the stage for bands like the offspring, and obviously you were hooked by the 90's punk revival and decided to listen to the roots, which is a good thing.

  • blasphemy

  • Hello guys, sorry to intrude, but I accidentally heard their voices and I can say with all the criticism that one may have about a band called bad religion, this song is a prayer, not very religious, but it is a direct criticism of God, or do you think the angels of evil can not talk to God, he sings with the soul, though, the angel of evil des-believe forever. But it is still a beautiful song. This is the good that comes of evil.

  • Wut?

  • Escuto todos os dias!

  • I am sorry but your opinion is wrong

  • damienpook , You think this song is gay? censoring your fucking curse words is incredibly pathetic, it makes you a fucking pussy.

  • Maybe Damienpook is someone who thinks being a bullshit who solve problems criticizing years-working from humanist people will put himself in a better position. Guy Look at you!! you don't even know from where you 've come or where you 'll go. you 're just another idiot like all the ones guess they are more than fucking adults!! go to the hell, die like a champion and have a good time!!!

  • o yeah

  • agreed.

  • "when our only true massiah rescues us from ourselves" epic lyric, epic song

    can listen to these indefinitely

    i love bad religion

  • this isn´t just a normal song... this is a world anthem....the sound of guitars, the speed of drums, the harmonies of backing vocals all this together with a powerfull voice and strong lyrics makes this song an exemple what punk really is and what it means...

  • Hear, hear....

  • so true! biting social commentary! exactly what punk was meant to be!

  • Phew!!!! Well Said! Can't say it any better than that.

  • I say who the fuckin cares what genre it is, it's good.. SHUT THE HELL UP!

  • Like your life.

  • listen to 80s bad religion.

  • I see. You like guys to suck fast, eh?

  • cmon dude we can discuss whats punk and whats not and who started punk and what not ill we are blue in the face...everyone has there own view of what punk is and reps..everyband is differnt...we all love punk with its anti whatever message and mumbling vocals.whether is new style punk...mohawk punk....skate punk..or old school...but dude all this whats not punk shit gets fuckin old u know...just go with it and jam what u jam ...and jam it fuckin loud

  • this songs almost makes me cry everytime i hear it lol

  • yea me too

  • JokerneckQ

    Some

    Times

    Joking

    ......

    Sometimes

    We'll!!!!!!

  • this song is so incredably beautiful<333

  • Insane lyrics and solo!!! BR always rocks !!

  • Talk about nonsense...just get their first ep. and call punk ,punk and screw all the genre crap.

  • pop punk doesn't count. They're not really punk, because they don't embody the spirit of punk, neither does their music have anywhere near the hostility of real punk.
