its probably agnostic or something idk. you cant really get the answer to that question, people have different opinions like for example some1 says that a bad religion is catholic, then some1 else would start fighting with him cos the other person doesnt think its a bad religion. did i explain it clearly?
So i was just in class watching a movie on protests in progue & said to myself: Damn if only these people listened to bad religion they could make informed arguements instead of repeating old rederic without knowing what they r saying. This video makes me glad. for the most part these posts under me are informed and intellectually grounded. there arent furious uninformed people on here spitting unsupported retoric they picked up from the communist manifesto. bad religion teaches intelectualism
Dude you cant say that! Bad religion is not poser punk. greg graffin is a genius and just because the songs are melodic and intelligent it doesnt make it poser punk. you are entitled to your opinion but i have never thought of bad religion as a sell out band or anything other than punk. Graffin has always placed the messages in his music above all else, including profit or popularity. Its not about sounding good (although bad religion does) or appealing to the masses. its about telling truth.
They are using the system to get their message across to as many listeners as they can, using the media available. They have been doing since before they were "rich". The only way to change a system, political, educational, musical or whatever, is from inside. And to get inside you have to play the game. for a bit...
if you want to see punk music make a difference at grass roots level, check out Absolut Pantz.
punk rock used to be an oppisition to the hippie movement. and they were generally right winged in politics. now punk is either communistic or anarchistic. i dont care if theyre not words im just 14
well, if you want to be technical there's not much evidence to substantiate that claim, but even if there was and you assumed the bible was correct despite the inconsistent claims between the canonical gospels he doesn't meet the requirements the bible puts forth to be a messiah in the first place and fabricates/bends other "prophecies" to be messianic requirements which aren't in the first place.
dude, just bugger off would ya? He likes this song. No amount of insulting will change his mind. You're only making yourself look foolish by trying. Just ease of everyones backs and enjoy the songs you like. Rather than badmouthing sonsg you dont like that others do.
A few years back when i first saw the title for this song i thought "aw man i hope this doesn't suck" Bad Religion has proved me wrong there it's one of my favorite songs by this band. Bad Religion friggin rocks.
No...it matters how it sounds also. This song is growing on me now, though. I don't like the people that jump on a change a band does and hates just because it's different.
how is it these guys still kick so much ass!!!! chills... gives me chills. its all upstairs dudes... if everyone thought likethis all day... it would all be over.. the bullshit of this illusion we are living in.... this matrix... it would just go away
I used to get the same feeling years ago at church. I think that says alot about the subjectivity of human experience opposed to the reality of the supernatural lol.
Just seen them in Auckland. Another stand out show from the best of punk music. Good to know there is still some unmarketed music with some substance to it.
whaaaaa c vieux comme musique mais je me rappelle de tout mes trips ou presque lol vive la drogue !!! quand jecoutais sa crisse que on pensais que rien ne pouvais nous arreter
And not to mention all the three hundred other things I could say right now, but... I just don't feel like it...
I ADORE this band, even though this isn't the most typical Bad Religion song it still is a great song, not my favourite but a great song nonetheless...
And Greg once again gives proof that his singing style dramatically changed since Suffer
bad religion is great this song is great everything they do is great! everyone shut the fuck up and stop bitching ive been a fan for years and this is one of my favorite songs of theirs.
Thanks for the lesson in sociology and technology. Believe me, I took advantage of your profound suggestion, but my point still stands. This is a poor song for Bad Religion.
i think the lyrics aren't typical for bad religion, but i like how melodic it is and greg's singing in the chorus is fantastic, especially the last "and THERE will be SOOOORRROW no more", but i do understand that for real punkrock bad religion fans this isnt one of their best songs.
its not one of my favorites either but i do like it a lot.

Hmm. I was a huge Bad Religion fan at one point. Then I started liking various other kinds of music, most perhaps very 'negative'.
Then I hear this right now, not sure they even exist anymore, and I love it.
Just the idea of just taking 'Sorrow' and making a fucking completely positive song about it, is absolutely brilliant.
