  • great job, girls! ^.^

  • Wollstonecraft is corrupted. I'm a feminist just as I believe every man living in this century should be, but Mary Wollstonecraft exploited the Orient to further women's rights in England. I dislike most texts put forth in front of me by my professors, but if you're a feminist concerned with either the Middle East or Europe, you've got to take a look at "The Sultan And The Slave" by Joyce Zonana. It's not a book, it's only less than 18 pages of printed material. It's all there.

  • I love her..she is my muse ....

my friends and i did a project on her and won 1st place..she has forever changed my perspective on things...

"I do not wish [women] to have power over men; but over themselves." my favorite quote... :))

  • It's "Vindication" not "Vindification"

She was not a feminist. The term Feminism wasn't defined until after.

She opposed marriage. She defined it as legal prostitution.

  • @supersuperborat If she was opposed to marriage then why did she marry William Godwin?

  • @supersuperborat Feminism wasn't officially defined until after Wollstonecraft's time, but she was essentially a feminist as she fits the description in that she was fighting for equal rights between men and women.

  • Thnks for this video.this is gonna help me alot!
