  • I hung out with his mom and dad .. At a restaurant near stoneedge skatepark (contest etc) they were so proud of their son .. They were excited about him in everyday! It was fun . Thank god for Ray!

  • I know! He was soo awesome! I've known his kid Keaton since 3rd or 4th grade. He was so nice when he tutored kids at our schol, and it's sad to see his name on the list of people who have died to pray for at our church :(. His wife was also very nice! You gotta love the whole family! lol :)

  • One of the early "New style" vert skaters. He, Lasek, Way and McCay really ushered in the way vert is skated today. I remember boards growing another tail and switch stance came on strong because of Ray and others.

    Well all be able to skate with Him one day. Hell be missed till then. R.I.P.

  • I can't say I was ever stoked over watching Ray skate. I usually fast forward through vert parts after watching them once. Yet Ray was still a big part of the scene when I was growing up and it's always tough and sad to see someone like him pass away.
