Notice another inconsistency, in the news caption excerpt, it quotes: "alleging Brutality", if this wasn't someone else who had assaulted Dixon, would imply he did it to himself. How can someone inflict the kind of injuries on their own body the way they appeared on Dixon.

Your right, but one big inconsistency can't compare apples to oranges. China, Russia, etc goes back further in history than we do. We are just rookie wimps on the block. Further, they don't even come remotely close to China, or other systems, because at least those other systems are many centuries of developed concepts that don't have the disconnects and fragments as in ours. Notice the behavior in ours are knee jerk reactions to anything. So instead of protecting and ensuring peace, the irony is that they provoke the opposite direction.

@jabrown45100 Check out the wikipedia article "List of countries by incarceration rate." U.S. is number 1, by a WIDE margin, and look where European countries, China, Japan (!) are. Russia has a very high rate too, but still 100 per 100,000 inhabitants less than the U.S. If the U.S. is not a police state, I don't know what is.

@fanbrazil11 Honestly, If I was punished for some violation eg. parking ticket, I rather be punished in China, Singapore, Russia, or N. Korea, because at least I am assured the enforcers how ever severe the punishment was (even if it didnt match the violation) were level-headed and objective(In our society its complete opposite)-due to the dysfunctional backgrd of some enforcers of the law, they fly out of control-not good when already they're heavily armed to begin with-hindsight is 20/20

@fanbrazil11 you're right, I read a few months ago on US population statistics (over 300 million US population) that(off a little on accuracy) but generally close, that in an entire lifetime 1 out of 8 people will have been sent to prison. 1 out of 3 sent to prison will have a felony charge in their records. 10 to 15% were trivial stuff charged needlessly like jaywalking. 20 to 25% sent innocent to prison, and released after new evidence with appologies

@fanbrazil11 I seen in the TV news several years ago of an african american was just released from prison after 30 years of confinement. The appalling discovery of DNA(not existed at time of his arrest) found him unmatch to the rape victim committed by someone else. Sad?? Waisted an entire innocent man's life in prison. When they released them, they only appologized to him and promised him tuitition assistance for college. I don't think at 60 yrs age, he'll feel motivated to find jobs.

The U.S. is always talking about freedom and civil rights, but it locks up more of its citizens than ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!!
