  • you sound just like a friend of mine, she has been over 300 for many years, very heavy since her 20s, almost 50 now. Still talks about weight loss like it is just around the corner, always telling me about her latest plan, diet book she is reading, etc. But it seems more like day dreaming because every time she starts to make a change or lose weight, she gets scared or something and gains it all back, like on purpose. I think she has gotten so used to being big, she cannot imagine anything else

  • Hey Logan- stumbled upon your videos when I saw the 383 to marathon runner title. My sister and husband and I then sat and watched all your updates to the present. Logan, you are very likable and have so much potential! I am encouraging you to pick something and DO IT! I hear a lot of excuses and it doesn't seem that YouTube is helping keep you accountable.   • @LogansJourney I can't agree with mpbam5 more. I WAS you! I had the same excuses, "new" diet or "plan" every week, etc. I was FAT my entire life and 300+ for the last 5 years (only 5'6"). At 47, for the FIRST time in my life, I approached it differently. I set a goal of running the Boston Marathon, focused on that date which was 10 months away and accepted NO EXCUSES. Don't waste your life and wait as long as I did. Just SAYING things doesn't make it happen! It's time to change your life now!

  • Glad you're back homie. Hey, if you need any low-carb tips, don't be afraid to ask. I know all the low-carb tricks, recipes, snacks. I have an e-book i can send you if you want. It's what made me lose weight back in April 2009. It's about low-carb and is VERY informative. You can do this dude, don't give up.

  • Glad your not giving up. Good luck! Don't get discouraged if it doesn't go exactly as you plan. I know tracking is the hardest thing to keep up with myself. I'm about to start up again with weight loss myself next week. So again good luck I wish you the best in this, it is most certainly a struggle but I believe that you can do this!

  • Don't give up! Keep working at it. I signed up with a personal trainer 2 days a week at Planet Fitness and it is working so far. I go everyday.

  • First don't say last hurrah, this Is an on going life struggle. Second what do you mean low carb for six days...has to be seven days if go want to go that route.

    I got up to 410 at one point, down to 225 Back up to 290 earlier this year and now at 260 going back down to 225 again...again life struggle and yes I get what you are saying about Pizza and Ice cream...especially pizza for me.

    Just work hard, it Is not easy but you will get there Logan. I wasn't brave enough to vlog like you.

  • Glad you haven't given up. I'm not sure if you've ever subbed to me or not but I found you a long time ago and I've watched a few of your updates. Feel free to check me out and sub, I do weekly weigh-ins on Saturday and I've been going steady with vids since Jan 1 (and one of the relatively rare male weight loss vloggers). I've lost 56 lbs so far.

  • Hey, it's hard to make changes, not good to make excuses, no, but it is hard. You're not going to be in that corner! My only suggestion is to not take on too much at once. Start with little things, get used to them, then build on. That's what has helped me in the past several years anyway. I've always really enjoyed seeing you, so I hope you'll make more videos. :o)
