This defense will work, but honestly I don't know of anyone dumb enough to mount someone with a gun. When you have a gun, you want to stay out of striking distance... that's coming from someone with no Krav training but about 2 years of BJJ training.

I always see comments on these videos that say something like "oh, kick in the groin, what if its a girl?" take it from a girl, it doesn't matter, getting kicked/punched down there still hurts. bad.

@sunsetxlungs777 its not really the same tho. if you kick me in the leg it hurts even thou I don't have testicles there, but a strong blow to the family jewels, (punch,kick,baseball :( , ect) its like a pressure point that shuts down the brain.

not saying dont kick there, it would proably still hurt them enough to get the gun away, but there is a difference

@Veleentj Even if they are very heavy, all you have to do is get them off balance. pair that with you tugging on the gun and they're gonna fall forward.

It doesn't matter how big the attacker is. I'm an average sized woman and have used this technique (in training) with several sizes of attackers and it has never failed. Of course we weren't using live rounds so the ramifications of a burn or discharge obviously weren't tested. Great video! Easy maneuver to master!

Im not being an @hole, but what happens if the gun goes off, its redirected off your body, but enemy may have enough pounds of pressure to break the shot. Obviously I would think you would not be able to stop the cycling of the slide recoil, but what kind of damage do you think would happen to your hands? And how can you prevent this, or quickly recover from this.

@ELITEHAMSTER123 Apparently, if you grab the slide of the weapon and it goes off causing the slide to move, it does no damage to your hand, no burning or anything, theres a few videos of this being shown as well that you could probably find.
