@TNAJeffHardy13 If you have a PS3 and it has an internet connection then you can buy it from the PS Store for $10 which is what I did for convenience. But if you want to buy the original game for the Playstation One then you won't be able to get it cheap without going on Ebay. I got my game for about $40.

@svensken4 The movie is based on this game, but adds many things, and changed many others, so you shouldn't "use" the movie to understand the game because it's not the same thing. For starters, the siren has nothing to do with a Church calling people to find shelter from the darkness. After all there's not a lot of people in Silent Hill.

Perhaps is best, I don´t know, but ¿ what kind of reference you got on 1998? only Alone in the dark and resident evil, and the survival horror was invented by these two games... People said "oh a clone of R.E." is not a clone, you know, but you also have to be agreed that is similar, futhermore when there are only two games or three games like this type.

Kids these days are graphics whores. I say it's a side effect of getting into gaming at the start of the GC/PS2/Xbox console generation. Pretty graphics just make it nicer to stare at for a few hours~

uh, there were no game systems in the 50's and after the videogame crash of 1983 nobody ever saw an Atari game system other than in the attic collecting dust or in a garbage dump. For the 80's kids there was nothing before Nintendo, or computer games. Kids aren't graphic whores huh? Then how come the most common complaint one hears from kids is bad graphics? How come old school gaming isn't bigger?

Not all kids are graphic whores! It depends on what your used to play.. If your used to playing HD graphics and then you play an old game you would hate it but when you get further into playing the game the game is going to be like a HD or some random awesome game to you :P
