  • This is keyword spamming and it drives me nuts. I wanted tips on using my food processor. D-Bag

  • im not good at english, but you wont cry if you dont cut the end of the union. just finish slicing it and then throw it away

  • Nice video, but add me to the list of people who wanted to know how to use an actual (Cuisinart) food processor to chop an onion without ending up with onion purée. I agree with the previous poster who suggested you use "me" in reference to The Food Processor, because I kept waiting for you to break out the actual kitchen appliance.

  • It's a good video. If you're going to name yourself after a common kitchen tool, it might be good to name the videos in a way that indicates it's your name you're talking about (other than just capitalization). "How to cut an onion with me, The Food Processor" or "The Food Processor presents: How to cut an onion".

  • cutting half onion for 3:45 minutes? are you kidding? :)))) not pro at all :P

  • Once again, I, me, myself am The Food Processor

  • where is the food processor???

  • Nice video, but misleading title. There is no food processor in this.

  • @mlclampit

    Thanks, Captain.

  • 18 people dislike this video ... hmmm ... Y'all need to get over yourselves!

  • thanks for the vid but your title misled me - i was waiting for you to chuck the onion in your food processor!

  • I dont get it. The title says how to cut and onion with the food processor.

    I didn't see a food processor

  • can you swim with those goggles ?

  • cutting with a knife is not using a food processor.

  • the economy being what it is, i've been saving those little end pieces of onion and other veggies too, in a container in the freezer. gonna make stock. can also be used for compost.

  • where the fuck is the food processor ?

  • that must be a walmart onion lol

  • @crankymrman ohhhh snap!!

  • WOW!!! Watching that "FOOD PROCESSOR" in action just made me process my bowels right in my pants!!! Great Instructional Doorkus!!!

  • The title makes it sound like using a food processor to cut an onion. Otherwise the video is fine. First time I ever needed to dice an onion, I had no one to ask so looked it up on the internet. It was a video just like this that taught me and now I do it daily.

  • WOW!!!!! great food processor .....

  • for not crying just put it the freezer for about 5min

  • @vdkemp REALLY! shut up!!! does that work!!! for years I wore a radiation suit for onions.. it's good to know there's a better way. THANK YOU ANONYMOUS HERO!

  • @vdkemp REALLY! shut up!!! does that work!!! for years I wore a radiation suit for onions.. it's good to know there's a better way. THANK YOU ANONYMOUS HERO! no really i mean it. i hate cutting onions!

  • he has a big mouth

  • more like forehead. GV though.

  • not at all what was promoted....

  • After like 20 secs of onion cutting I start to cry and I CANNOT chope for like 7 - 10 minutes and I make my mom do it - she is more tolerant to it.

  • @kragier ya.. it's an old people trick. what they use to do was rub their eyes onion juice.. do this for about a week. you'll notice the difference and will be able to be tolerant of any onion life throws your way. best of luck.. =)

  • @happydude77 LOL

If I did that I would probably go blind. I don't cut onions enough to need to do that, I'd rather not risk it o3o

There is a much simpler trick. When you cut the onion, leave both halves cut side down, then chop normally (the right way, video shows it here) I did it, any my super sensitive-to-onion eyes didn't have a problem! Cutting the onion breaks cells and such, causing it to release sulfur.

    ...

  • @happydude77 (continued!)

    ...

The sulfur goes into your eyes and forms sulfuric acid, and you cry to cleanse your eyeballz. If you leaves the onion side down, the vapors don't come out directly and should make you cry. Even BETTER! (this is my theory :3) If the cutting board is wet at all, the sulfur should combine with THAT water and not your eyes, thus you are completely safe. I always wash my cutting board first, so when I cut it is almost always at least damp.

  • almost 4 minutes to cut an onion - lol

I'd hate to see this guy de-bone a chicken!!

  • i have that knife...i hate it cause everything sticks to it..

  • while I appreciate the idea of an instructional video on how to cut an onion, this one is made to sound like a video for the retards. Why do you have to speak so slowly and leave the camera on the onion (or knife) for 3 seconds, for god's sake? Do you think that we have never seen an onion (or knife) before?

  • I would like to have your red sauce recipe please

  • What's the brand of the 'onion goggle'? lol

  • I don't have the packaging info anymore, but I bought them at Williams-Sonoma

  • Nice informative video, but where is the "food processor" that is listed in the title...or are YOU the food processor?! LOL :D

  • Yes, I am the one! :)

  • hahahahahahaha yep
