  • Love, love, love this song.

  • Paul is arguably the greatest over all musician of alll time

  • Paul McCartney > Ringo Starr

  • I heard this song on the radio for the first time and I had no idea this was Paul. His voice sounds so different here. I like it :)

  • now this is music<3

  • does anyone have the link of alex pardee painting to this song?

  • Me gusta ._. staring at my posters of him with no top on.

  • Anyone else think of Matt Bellamy...?

  • @MUSEic173 I do think about Matt. xD I saw both Paul's band and Muse live.

  • I think this is the closest Paul has gotten to techno. I love it!

  • Bieber who?

  • Matt Bellamy ;D

  • @TheSpiderpkz What about the cunt?

  • sacré paul!!

  • For some reason I'm under the impression that "Mr. Bellamy" is stuck in a tree...

  • @CandyDate Mr. Bellamy is Heather Mills. "Mister Bellamy" is an anagram for "Mills Betray Me"

  • @JeffBeane I see. Isn't "Heather Mills" Supposedly "Rita" who allegedly cause Paul to "wreck"

  • @CandyDate that was my first thought to. At first, I thought it was really funny

  • ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, I ADMIT IT..I MASTURBATE TO THIS SONG...AHHH! >.<

  • @EnglishTeaCp lol haha

  • pauls low voice kinda freaks me out

  • @mravantgarde123 Me too...but it's hot O_O

  • Comment removed

  • @CandyDate It really is hot LOL

  • @ILoveVitas909 Agreed

  • @CandyDate Yes! His voice is so freaking hot in this song!

  • the end reminds me of magical mystery tour

  • He's a genius...

  • just read this song was sup post to feature thom yorke, that would have been pretty sweet.

  • "Nobody to tell me what to do, no one to hold my hand...

Nobody here to spoil the view, interfere with my plans... Bellamy's got a job to do and he's hope'n you'll understand..."

I love the poetry behind the idea of an old man that sees/is in his own Utopian world but is prevented from living in it and being happy because of the evils/realities of society. This song is like a brilliantly performed musical version of "Don Quixote". Yet another timeless masterpiece from Sir Paul McCartney.

  • Love the last minute.

  • man when he says sit tight mr bellamy a chill comes down through my spine!

  • @KraineMusic Oh ! I thought i was the only one! It's like this song touches my soul and I get goosebumps everywhere and i get chills down my spine!

  • Why does everyone keep saying ''beast'' Its a dumb word to describe ''best''!

  • geweldige tekst

  • Has a catchy tune to it.

  • i am 20,000 of those viewers ive been listening to thi song since i was 8

  • chocolate raaaaaaiiiiiin

  • LOVE it!

  • why is the album called Memory Almost Full. It hardly seems so according to his awesome music skills that he still has! He's just being modest i guess. His memory will neva be full.

  • @AmandiMasen I believe he got the idea for the album title from seeing the text "memory almost full" on his cell phone display because the message inbox was getting full.

  • @DoctorPencilK oh thank u

  • I like this song by Paul McCartney!!!!!

  • Always Love New Paul,,,The Sound You Make Is Muzak To My Ears!!!!!!

  • This is better then Justin Bieber thumbs up if you agree thumbs down if you disagree

  • @FrodoBaggins3986 im gonna thumbs you down just because you cant get original. Stop making JB's related post its sooo fucking annoying.

  • @FrodoBaggins3986 Thumbs up All The Way!

  • @FrodoBaggins3986 stop compairing justin bieber to paul mccartney. justin bieber has good music for his genre, not saying i like it, by i have to admit it. paul mccartney has a COMPLETLY different style of music, you cant compaire it to another genre like bieber's.

  • @FrodoBaggins3986 Justin Bieber does not deserve to be compared to Paul McCartney.

    I hate you.

  • Absolutely brilliant!

  • One of my Favorites,,)

  • Sounds like a mix of David Bowie with Portishead.

  • Sounds like chocolate rain.

  • GREAT SONG!!!

  • Mr. Bellamy was released in may 2007. Chocolate Rain in april 2007. But the last recording sessions for MAF was done in april 2007, and McCartney started working on the album in 2002. It's not very likely that Zonday or McCartney have "learnt" a thing or two from the others song.

  • This song is about a cunt I know's dad

  • Brilliant song!

  • I always found this song to be pure genius. I imagined Bellamy up a tree but someone else suggested he was on a window ledge instead.

  • is there a flute or clarinet in this??

  • @mycheetah10 It's hard to tell. The majority of the sounds in this song were faked because David Kahne is a dick.

  • @mycheetah10 there's a clarinet when the song changes a bit

  • I just came across this song in a Alex Pardee video. I thought It was a new song... Then I followed the song, and found it was by the great Mr. Paul McCarney. No wonder It sounds so amazing.

  • listening to both Memory Almost Full & Chaos & Creation both brilliant albums~ :)

steady lads, easy does it~ lol

  • I just love this man, in the deepest meaning the verb "to love" can have.

  • is it me or are those fireman pedo-bears

o an interfere with my plans..for what? world domination?

    anyway GREAT SONG thumbs up

  • just perfect !!!!!

  • CHOCOLATE RAAAAIN!

  • @Garland220 What? This is McCartney, not Zonday

  • This is an AMAZING song! I foind it funny that he's still making music, even in spite of himself being, oh what, 70?

  • @REGIFISHY 68 :)

  • @REGIFISHY hes 68.

  • nice :)

  • One of the most weirdest, but most coolest song ever in my life :D

Love the ''Fireman''-voice, nice and low.

    :D

  • Inspiring

  • looks lil but like

    chocolate rain from tayzonday

  • What an incredible song!

  • I like your sense of humor, Sir James. Can I send you a C.D. of what I'm doing to the MPI address? Would you ever hear it, or are you still fixing that bell?

  • @Alien8990 If he did it, wouldn't be music, just obstreperous racket.

  • paul mccartney and matt bellamy are both awesome <3 muse and beatles are my 2 fav bands. chocolate rain SHOULD NOT be compared to this song.

  • @musez8 It's not about Matt Bellamy.

  • ok can people just let go of the beatles. the band broke up 40 years ago, john's been dead for 29 years now, george for about 8 years now, enough with the "well the beatles would had made this a killer song" wishful thinking its a great song on its own, just let it be

  • It's true, man, but don't let go of Paul McCartney. He's really good and yet he's still touring and recording new songs - the man is still quite successful!

  • I don't know about you guys, but I think he's talking about Matt Bellamy ;)

(p.s. this is kinda a joke but not really)

  • it is a great song

took me forever to learn it on piano

good video on youtube for tutorial

  • thanks for the comments friends!

this is one of my favorite songs of Paul!

  • This is my favorite track from Memory Almost Full. Every time I hear it, it screams "The Beatles". Paul still has that mindset and it reflects brilliantly in this tune. It is very creative yet...eerie. You can almost hear the fallen Beatles within the harmonies and backing vocals. Paul cared so deeply about the band. Never wanted it to cease. He seems to harness the general vocals of George and John sometimes. I love this tune. So very Beatle-esque. Sounds like its from the Pepper or Tour era.

  • Bravo Bravo The Beatle Would have made this song amazing but even paul alone made this one of the best songs ive heard yet

  • this song can fit in all the beatles albums o so well

  • More like the Abbey Road album.

  • This is my favorite song on this amazing album. It just breaks my heart, it sounds so lonely and airy.

And um, to the Chocolate Rain/Mr. Bellamy comparisons?

    No. Just No.

  • Which came out first, Chocolate Rain or Mr Bellamy? I can hear similarities.

  • Who cares Chocolate rain shouldnt even be compared to this.

  • HA!!! It's Macca-does-Chocolate Rain. Check out that piano track it's hilarious!

  • my favorite part is from 0:00 to 3:39!

    I LOVE PAUL MCCARTNEY!!!!

  • My favorite part is from 2:31 - 3:39!

  • This song is completely amazing. I've had this whole album for months but never listened to anything but Ever Present Past, man am I glad I let it run to this song.

  • Great song...wonder if anyone has used it at their funeral yet..:))

  • for a suicide victim? lol ...if you dont get it look at the interview with Paul about this song or look at the lyrics....

  • its not really a funeral song.

  • lol chocolate rain anyone?

  • lol thats what i thought

  • this song is beast

  • I just knew that Thom Yorke was invited to play with Sir Paul on this song and that he declined, I'm a completly Beatles fan and Radiohead fan... too bad that Thom declined the invitation...

  • yeah... the only reason thom declined was because he didnt think he was good enough. i think he would have been great and i- being a fan of both as well- would have loved it!

  • Hummm Seriously not enough views or comments on this awesome song from an awesome album. Rock on Sir Paul!

  • I like this song =]
