It look like when I running the Multi-Thread on Linpack the phone is freeze, sometime is work but not smooth like running Single-Thread on Linpack. Galaxy S2 i9100 1600MHz dual core. Can you find out and let me know??? Thanksssss.

Zedomax!! When I test the Linpack for Android app I got freeze when Run Multi-Thread. When I run Single Thread is ok but Multi-Thread the phone is freeze and it shutdown and reboot. Do you know why? I have overclocked my Samsung galaxy S2 1.6 GHz , but I am still running the stock rom (based on Android 2.3.5) and the speedmod kernel. Quadrant score maxed at 5100. Very well done, Samsung!

@marsjo93 The S3 will not be quad core. 1.8GHz dual but 2GB ram. I wouldn't expect a quad core smart phone until end of 2012 earliest, and I'm guessing Tegra (NVidia) will be the first to put one out so in other words it won't come from Samsung, probably more like Motorolla.

If you are on Verizon I'd get the Motorolla Droid Razr. It's even thinner and faster than an S2, but probably no open bootloader, so no custom roms. If custom roms are a must get the S2 or one of the HTC flagships.

Plus the Droid RAZR has a super AMOLED screen too, but qHD resolution and the superb TI OMAP 4 chipset.

As an S2 owner I will say that I love my phone though.
