Anyone that says, "don't get a 250... you'll be bored in a month..." has never owned one. I've had two, along with a VF500F and currently ride an '01 F4i. I'd like to get another 250 to bash around on because they're so much fun. Throw an EX500 rear shock in and some decent tires, and with a good rider, it'll hang with any squid on a 600 in the turns.
The design has stayed the same on the Ninja 250 from 1988 to 2007".
Mechanically, it was a solid design even though the style eventually became a little dated. regardless, Kawasaki did a great job of giving you a lot of bike for the price. You can get an 08-up model but you will never see the 07 prices again. I bought my 07 as a leftover in 08 for $2,800 and it was worth every penny. It's an great economical, highway capable commuter.I ride it more than my 883.
I got this same bike 07 red 250. I bought it with 3440 miles on it for $1200 about a month ago. The lady before me was a moron and at 40 mph didn't know where the back brake was and ended up grabbing the front brake and ended up falling off and dropping the bike, lucky for me only damage was a few scratches and crack signals. So I basically stole the bike at that price. Kick ass bike. I'm make after I bought my bike the 08 was released a week later. Damn it!
Thats Not Stickers my Man, thats how the bikes comes, anyway noahsan how does the bike ride because im looking to get this as my first bike im 18 new driver etc.
Hey Metroid111, it drives pretty good, but it does take getting used to the fact that it rides at pretty high RPMs. I've gotten it up to 75 mph and it feels fine, although it does get blown around quite a bit by traffic on the interstate. Good luck on your purchase, I hope this helps you. Noah
Don't do it on my opinion. You will get bored with it in about 3 months. before you know it you'll be pinning the throttle everywhere wile getting frustrated. AT LEAST get a 500 if your getting a parallel 2. In my opinion the better starter bike would be an SV650. something you can grow with for at least a year.
250s are really, really week on the power and not designed for performance of pretty much any kind other the gas mileage. Sorry Boys.
He's asking for a beginner bike like a 250cc not anything bigger. I'm not sure if that's what you started with but that bike is a little big. Just my opinion though.
these thing are kinda hard to wheelie off the clutch unless im not getting the rpm high enough idk

Hi! noahsan!
You selected good bike. The 250cc light weight sport bike will teach you how to control bikes rather than huge horse power engine bikes.
Keep safe riding :)
