i can barely walk on my left leg thanks to this diease i play 3 sports that all involve running and skating... hockey basketball and football. when i get up in the morning it really hard to walk to the shower do you know where i could get bands for this???
I practiced parkour and free running from 9 years old (now im 13) and i saw that when i was 12 the pain started.I tried a lot of things but none worked. If this will work I will PM you,and thanks for uploading this video
I practiced parkour and free running and it hurts for about 1 year.I want to see if this works.I tried a lot of things and none worked. The effect was just like taking pain pills: the pain stopped for some hours.I will PM you if this works
I have osgood-schlatters andim 14. I live in South Africa and would really go out of my way to get this book. Please tell me if its possible to get it in south africa
I got this off of doing freerunning, parkour and sprinting for the county. I've still got it after 3 years, it hurts so bad and I've gone a bit chubby since then coz I could barely walk for ages :(
for strickland protocol..is it just for younger kids or can it still cure those where their growth plate is fully grown and develops osgood schlatters later on in life?
I got it at 15 and after resting for like 2 weeks it went away. but now im a very dedicated parkour athlete which is a demanding sport, and now at late 17 the curse has returned and is reaaaaallly screwing up my training, i have a very large lump under my right knee and a small one under my left....this blows dude
i've suffered from this for almost 8 years now!!! why cant it just go away?!?! in my left knee its not nearly as bad anymore but the lump is still there but in my right knee...if i just bearly pat it i'm in pain and cant move it for a day!!!! and i've done rest with little activity for a whole 2 years but it comes right back!!! can anyone please help me? its driving me insane and i want to become a Navy SEAL when i go into the military next year but this has to go away first
My son developed Osgood Schlatter while attending some basketball camps. The pain was minor. However, the first week of football the pain became unbearable and he could not run. I was told rest and inactivity was the only treatment, so he stopped playing football. After sitting and resting with the pain continuing, I found Jenny Strickland's book. I purchased it and followed the treatment. After seven days of the treatment, the pain was gone. I recomment the book if you have the condition.
@WGBTerminator you just said basketball camp, why is he playing football? Now I have also noticed that football season is over, and yes i notice you posted this 1 month ago.
im 11 and i found out it hurts realy bad i think its from football i realy dont do and thing eles =( i am realy up set about 2 years! well at lest i got type and a band and you realy cant make it wores
@7yx it is a shame to struggle with this painful condition when you can get cured by sticking to Jenny's treatment program. Over 400 kids have now been treated with a great success rate.
@7yx it aint bad from football, basketball will make it so you cant even walk !! i got mine during basketball and it felt SOOO much better during football
I really want to get cured from osgood schlatter disease now, but i don't know if this is fake or not. Please give me something that will convince me that this works.
@Ini8Robinho Hi, the best way to investigate is to google the strickland protocol, from there you willsee that Jenny is a senior lecturer at Greenwich University and has been a chartered Physiotherapist since 1984. you will also be able to go to wikipedia and find jenny's conference papers at the european sports science convention in 2008. If after that you are unsure post your e-mail address and i will forward you a few of the testimonials and you can contact these people directly.
@Ini8Robinho hello, best way is go onto Wikipedia as they will only allow cures and treatments that are 100% authenticated by professional references which relate to clinical studies. I do believe that the strickland protocol is listed there
@Ini8Robinho hi the stricland protocal does work but she says a average of 3 weeks but im estimated 5 weeks for it to cure so it does work. well for me anyway.
I have osgood schlatters disease and i do some exercises and streches and ice the knee. I haven't felt improvement in 2 weeks of rest from football/soccer now. When i saw stricklands protocol i must admit that i thought it was fake. But then i heard more about it, and now I don't really if i should buy it or not. I don't want to spend 30 pounds on something fake, so please give me something which can convince me that this isn't fake.
@CtrlAltDaLEET Unfortunately by the time you have grown fully, the lumps have too, so they will remain and thus give you problems kneeling. Nothing can be done for this other than surgically shaving them down.
My protocol is designed to work during the active early stages of the condition eg during your teenage growth spurt (aged 11-15). Sorry it doesn't seem to work later.
3 months later now and my boy remains pain free! THIS IS NOT BS!! And the only reason my account appears empty is because this is the only reason I even created an account. Compared to everything else we spent (time, energy and money), this cure worked and therefore was worth it. I certainly don't want to deprive Strickland of her ability to capitalize on her cure. She earned it.
Contact me if you want. Others have. The cure (protocol) is legit.
hi my son is 12 and plays travel sports. we are in need of some type of positive intervention. ive read the posted comments and iam leaning towards trying this product.is it really worh it? My son has suffered, iam hurtin because he is.
im 32 and still have it, started when was 13, and played football from 8 to 16 years old....im now 32 and still hurts, its damn painfull specialy winter time..
hmm, i really would like to believe this. But i cant imagine how a special massage or stretching should heal this syndrom in 3 weeks .. couldn't u please just explain a bit how this should work ? please ...
no... All I want is the cure... I don't want to buy my way into this. I'm only 13 and I need to know since Football season is coming up really soon, I don''t think it's fair, please tell me the cure.
My son Calum was successfully treated by Jenny, and the ability to be able to assist in treating Calum at home and speeding his recovery to play football within a couple of weeks of the initial diagnosis was brilliant
My 12 year old, has suffered for over a year. Never developed anything more than a very small bump under each knee. But he was in great pain. Tried a lot that was suggested (supplements, knee straps and months of rest...did not try acupuncture). This protocol is only thing that worked. He's playing club basketball again and absolutely no pain. He's stoked. The treatment is amazingly simple and simply makes sense!
@tbirk1220 I find it hard to believe that this is cured in such a short space of time? My son has got this, been to physio has got light stretches to do but is still in pain when playing football and can only play for upto 30 mins if that!! Is this protocol worth buying? joannetp1
@tbirk1220 hey does this really work cuz i dont want get all depressed if it doesnt and have to pay all that money....so honestly can u please tell me if it worked?
@tintorri10 If you're 15 then this protocol should definitely be able to help you. Suggest you read the testimonials and FAQ page on our web site if you want more answers.
I have suffered from this problem, and I went to see Jenny Strickland who offered me the Stricklan Protocol, she was very caring and helped me through all the rough edges. Once I had my first few oppointments I had emmediately started to see a difference. I have made a full recovery and I am now back doing all the sports I was doing before I had Osgood-Schlatters. Therefore the treatment works as I have had no reoccurance of the injury.
I don't claim that the calcium will go away, just that the inflammatory (and painful) part of their lump may reduce. What I can prove is that my protocol significantly reduces their pain and speeds recovery from an average of 21 months, down to 20 days.
My active treatment reduces the traction forces which are pulling their tendon away. This is the factor that seems to make 'the difference'. Clearly evidenced in my ground-breaking research presented at the ECSS Conference '08.
@strix60 This is complete bullshit. Look at all the accounts posting support messages. They're all fake empty accounts that have only been created to write that one comment.
@areyu93 Every one of these comments is from a genuine patient or parent. If you go to our testimonial page you will see many, many more in support of my protocol. And there are even more that we haven't posted on there.
To date we have had less than 3% for whom the technique has not helped. That's a 97% success rate.
Doctor it is physically impossible to make the calcium/bone deposit go away once it has developed!!! What you are treating are "temporarily inflammed" joints!!! Can you treat my elbows so they are smoother? I know what I am talking about my bumps protrude 1/2" while standing!!! All you can do is tell these kids to do zero/minimal exercise during their vulnerable growth years!! Or do sports but accept a minor ugly bump on their knees that's permanent.
12 i have it :P just found out today and my best freind has it lol
