@sohnnysdream - Probably mostly fine tip artist inkers - you can get them at art supply stores. The high quality ones don't have the issue of 'blotting' like low quality ones do, and that can make all the difference when shading. And likely he probably uses several diferent sizes depending on what amount of detail he's doing with the shading.

As far as what brand - try his site, maybe he says.
