Wtf? MadMikes FD has a NA 20B 3 rotor. The only cars seen on the scene at this moment (without mention the 787) equipt with a 4 rotor is the Scoot FD RX7 and BMI's RX8. Oh and a few other cars in Australia and New Zealand. Mikes RedBull RX7 is NOT a 4 rotor.

too bad the shafts on those things snap easily if it has over 3 rotors. Plus piston engines lose alot of power from the piston to the wheel, on the other hand wankel engines have alot of power and dont lose much taking it to the wheel but sadly they have no torque... at all. They have torque it's just not as high as a piston engine, it's about half of the total horsepower, however it's broader then a piston engines torque. Thats why it has higher horsepower, And they dont snap if you get a single peice shaft,

Eh, not exactly. The rotor has 3 faces and each face is fired every revolution of the eccentric shaft, and the rotor turns once every three of the shaft.

SO really it's like a four stroke (cycle) done twice as fast, does ALL 4 cycles in one revolution of the eccentric shaft. And it's max RPM is about 9K (can go higher), so if you double that it would sound just like a F1 V8 at 18K, as it has to do it in two revolutions of the crank.
