  • How do you enter or train or qualify for these types of events?

  • Check with the rink closest to you. You need to find a rink that has a quad speed club. Most rinks have speed (quad and/or inline), artistic and/or hockey. Not all rinks have al clubs. The rink I skated at was artistic. The rink a few cities over had a small artistic and a huge speed club.

You need an USARS amateur card. They were $25/year when I skated but that was a LONG time ago :)

  • canariam, do you have a copy of the 2006 Indoor Speed Skating National Championship Masters Two Ladies 2000m Relay

    1. Laurie Gillis, Judy Kerr - Capital City Racing

    2. Juliet Saybolt, Benita Warnes - Precision Inline Racing

I was told we had a photo finish and I have never seen it.

  • Yeah, me too. I still go skating pretty regularly and I've still got my 395s, Shamans, and Lasers!

  • I just looked up quad speed skating on a whim, remembering competing as a kid,and am glad I did. That was a dominating performance. Thanks,Tommy D.
