  • I am a Massachusetts resident, and will leave my personal feelings about Governor Patrick aside to make this comment.

Deval Patrick's campaign in Massachusetts was flawless. The man ran the strongest grass roots campaign in MA history to become the states first black governor.

It seems to me like Deval's campaign was Obama's way of "testing the waters." They both ran on a campaign of "hope" and "change." They both put emphasis on grassroots organizing. Really interesting comparisons btwn the 2

  • what is the name of the song

  • what is the name of the song played in the video?

  • The song is "Proud" by Heather Small.

  • yup - it's axelrod cookie-cutter deja-vu. Cut in interviews with "regular people". Tell the candidate's story. Use uplifting music with a message of hope & unity.

creepy that people keep falling for this...

  • Hmm....sounds exactly like Obama's campaign.

  • They both had David Axelrod as messengers. In fact, Patrick ran the hope/change campaign before Obama.

  • I was looking for a new job and a new venue, I think I will move to Mass.

  • This is the best Campaign ad I have ever seen. It is truly inspiring.

  • I wish I lived in your state.

  • he rocks!

  • He sucks. He's been in office for 2 years, and has produced absolutely NO positive change.

I've never understood a democrat who turns against unions. He's effectively pissed off the Massachusetts Teachers Union, the Boston's Carmens Union (MBTA), and others. He's going to lose very badly in his bid for re-election.
