This is a very good video! It's true, Elrond does not get the recognition he deserves... although I think that is in part the fault of the way he was portrayed in the movie. I loved Elrond in the books, but (you are going to hate me for saying this) I didn't think that Hugo Weaving's performance really properly captured the spirit of the character. Anyway, I loved how you showed his story in this. Good job!

Wait... I haven't heard from anywhere that the sons of Elrond could be in TH... Because if that's true, then I will die from happiness. :D I can't wait to see all the new stuff from Rivendell, it must be my favourite place in Middle-Earth. Not to mention that Elrond looked gorgeous in Peter Jackson's production diaries, December 2012 seems ridiculously far away. :D

@ErewinOfImladris Well, it's not said in production diaries anywhere, but some people think that the twins are actually seen in the trailer, and they are the ones circling the dwarves on the horse back. :)

Later, Elrond has to see his wife suffer and his sons become obsessed with vengeance. Then there is the whole thing with Arwen. :'( I like to think that Elladan and Elrohir (who I love to death) eventually sail to the Undying Lands.

ok...I'm trying not to cry right now. Poor Elrond, he doesn't get enough love. And he has such a sad life. :( I mean, really, while his father is off sailing, his home gets attacked and destroyed by other elves and his mother throws herself into the sea (and I don't think he would realize that she survived until later). He and Elros are lucky that Maglor is a good sort of elf, but then Elros decides to become mortal, goes off to rule an island, and dies.

O.O That was awesome! Not so many care to know about Elrond's life. Thank you for highlighting that to people. Most simply think him "evil" for not wanting Arwen to choose mortality without understanding him or what he has been trough.

The music was fantastic! I love the Inception OST and you fit it perfectly to the vid!

ps. Would very much like to see a video including Eärendil and Elwing as well. perhaps the attack of Sirion or why not his captivity in Himring and him meeting Maglor. :)

this is an amazing amazing video. I always wondered why there is no video on elrond but this has far surpassed my expectations. may be you could include a little bit about Elrond's parents Earendil and Elwing too. By the way, what are the words toward the end of the video? what does it say, I could not understand it.

@joanjcster Thanks! :] Yeah, there should be WAY more Elrond vids. Uh, I was thinking about Elwing & Earendil, but at the time I couldn't think of which fandoms to use and so left them out. Maybe I'll make a new vid of the peredhil someday.

Anna, that was just so insanely incredible! I love how you told his story so amazingly, and I totally agree, Elrond deserves so much love! I always feel so bad for him because he loves Arwen so much and he'd do anything to keep her safe. Especially when he shows her the future and at the coronation. I cry so badly during those scenes...

Love it sweetie, so wow... just wow.
