  • Title Reminds me of Forrest Gump.

  • This song makes me think of Cake's song "The Distance."

  • was this ever released? weezer have never done a b-side album have they :(

  • anyone else think this sounds slightly like a radiohead song?

  • Where does all this stuff come from? is there like a weekly raid of River's house or something???

  • the weez got a little crazy with releasing demos from 01-03. Good time to be a fan indeed...

  • @hgyture2347

Actually, weezer.com used to have a portal in which the band had all their b-sides available for free download. many of the awesome b-sides were recorded by the band after Pinkerton and before the green album while they were looking for a new sound.

  • @hgyture2347 There WERE. They were known as The Holy Rivers Crusades.

  • There is an endless trove of gems when it comes to the =w=!

  • True, I wish someone would give me a list of it all...*ahem*

  • yeh nearly every week or day i find a weezer song i have never heard before

  • oh this is different than the version i remember

  • they're was an alternate version of "burnt jamb" with conversation before the actual guitar riffs begin...if you find that can you post it? It would bring back good memories!

  • Was it Live Cause i think i have that, rivers is like lay it down for em scott and shit like that?

  • Yeah I think so...that would be sweet!

  • i have it i'll upload it on my page

  • I like the snoop dog/burnt jam mash up. its kinda cheesy, but fun.

  • i don't understand it. weezer b sides always kick so much ass and they've filled the last two albums with alot of crap. there's good tracks but good stuff like this never get on em

  • These demos were great....I remember these days. I'd be on the weezer message boards, talking about the different demo version with other fans.

Anyone else remember when they performed at the Whiskey A Go Go the night before Maladroit came out and they gave out free tickets over the message board?? Fun times...

  • wow, i remember this song - but i had a different version. very nostalgic

  • Can you upload "My brain is working overtime"?

  • I think this is one of my fave's of the A5 demos.

  • what album or where'd you find this?

  • Demo stuff recorded sometime after Pinkerton and before the Green Album.

  • This is a demo recorded after "Maladroit" and before "Make Believe" to be exact.
