and his restaurant is horrible. no exaggeration. they got everything wrong. very overcooked shrimp (in all dishes with shrimp). salty salty salty everything salty. did i say salty? and they're wagyu steak is not any better than a standard steak. save yourself $75.

In the 1990s, during the bubble economy in Japan, francophilia was big and anything French was considered trendy as France was supposed to be the ultimate in culture and sophistication.

While "à la Cuisiner" would make more sense, Kaga was saying "Allez Cuisine."
