  • bravo bravo boos ahi estaremos contigo en junio

  • I was there. Best show i've ever seen. RIP Clarence. it won't be the same without you!

  • RIP BIG MAN

  • DA BOSS

  • First show I ever saw was at the Spectrum...love you Bruce

  • So... from now on when there's an arena being torn down, is it pretty much a given that you have to have Bruce come and sing this song?

  • Song sucks. Man is that some generic shit. "if you've got the gut mister, if you've got the balls." wow, that's some weak run of the mill shit. He was the best poet in rock music history, but he's totally out of ideas. On the other hand, I'd love to see all of Philly get a wrecking ball. The city sucks, the eagles totally suck, and hate to burst the bubble but the cheesesteaks aren't that good.

  • @pedrocantina someone is upset that Philly gets the best Springsteen shows...

  • bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce! clarence

  • MagikRat...you da person!! Thanks for this and all of your uploads

  • I went to the 10/20/09 show at the Spectrum...Amazing night played 31 songs and did not take one break. This man is amazing. The Spectrum is now almost completly gone and only the supports are standing...very sad but I got to see Bruce and the band their twice...Thanks Bruce

  • Bruce is a second son to the city........tears fill me eyes with this song. Thanks Bruce!

  • NUNCA BRUCE DEJES DE SER ASÍ. GRACIAS POR ELLO.

TOO MUCH. FROM MADRID . ( ESPAÑA ).

  • such an antagonistic song dont know quite if its actually wrote about something particular, and lots of the bosses music is antogonistic about something, but I think this song is about the loss of old america to the wrecking ball they try to tear everthing down and from the tone of the song bruce plays the one standing up against the demo man to stop the destruction of his belived city and place he calls home.

It could be about something differant, but its a strong song unlike many out today.

  • this was a great show

bruce is a legend who will live on forever just like the spectrum

  • what a concert boys!!!!!!!!

  • I SALUTE the Spectrum on it's final days. Many amazing life memories happened in that building. I can't help but think back to Bruce's show the night after John Lennon died - etched in my mind forever - closing the show with Twist & Shout.

  • @TDMtheman I was there that night,as well, and to this day the most amazing performance by an individual. Remember turning around and looking up at the clock reading 1:00am. Black arm bands on the band and Bruce saying "it's hard to come out tonight and play." December 9th,1980.

  • Great Song and watched it today when they hit the Spectrum with the wrecking ball and it brought a tear to my eye.. Thanks Bruce.

  • Goodbye Spectrum :*(

  • The wrecking ball hits the Spectrum today (11/23/10) at about noon ET. It'll be sad to see the place go, so many great memories.

  • I love how the Boss fit the song to Philly. I was at Giants Stadium on the last nite and this song had us all in tears of pride. North Jersey born and bred this is my personal anthem but hey, Bruce has always loved Philly and I say let the city of Brotherly Love share this amazing song! This is the only time I will ever raise my glass to Phialdelphia. E-Street bros and sises, let 'em bring the wrecking ball!

  • @Chefblackstock North Jersey born and bred here, buddy! Bruce will ALWAYS be THE BOSS! :-)

  • I have no association with Philly or the US but this brings tears of joy to my eyes.

  • I finally got the right words watching Bruce with Elvis on Sundance channel last night - Master Frontman, hell of a song writer, Awesome bandleader, excellent guitar player and the best Freakin SHOW BAND in the world. That's what makes Bruce and the E-St Band the best! for those fans how can have 2 favoriate bande - The Who at the Superbowl halftime show! How sweet would it be to hear Daltry and Townsend jam with Bruce and the boys......

  • i got chills when he played this song. it also bought some tears hearing on the last nite knowing never be able to walk through that hollowed building again. that is as bruce says one of the great rock areneas left.

  • it means a lot to the great people of philadelphia, we love bruce and he loves this city back

  • Doesnt mean as much as when he sang it at Giants Stadium...... you know since he is from Jersey

  • That dont mean a thing to Philadelphia fans nor the south jerseyside!

He loves Philadelphia and he has never denied it!

His Home Away From Home...he has said for years...NOT NY!

  • he got his start in philly 51 sell outs in philly!

  • I was at this show. Gave me chills. I love the Spectrum. So many memories. Flyers and Sixers games w/ my Dad back in the late 60's and 70's, then w/ all my buds. Phantoms games w/ my kids. The Circus, Disney stuff, Sesame Street stuff, when the kids were little. Gonna miss the ol gal. The Spectrum is more than just a building. It's part of our Philly upbringing. Bruce did a great job pulling on the heart strings.

  • check out Nils leading the band at different parts...the Big Man and the trumpet do a great job too!

  • Awesome videao. I'll be there on the 20th and it should be an awesome show!

  • This song kind of grows on you. Love the change in lyrics to suit The Spectrum. Too bad we won't be able to hear this in Baltimore.

  • I was there! AWESOME show! Bring on the wrecking ball!
